Gen. Paul Vallely: Impeachment of Obama for Benghazi ‘Cover-Up’ is What The Country Demands

The existence of emails confirming the White House fabricated linkage of the 2012 Benghazi attack to an anti-Muslim video in an attempt to aid President Barack Obama’s re-election bid is enough to warrant impeachment proceedings, says retired U.S. Army Gen. Paul Vallely.
On Tuesday, emails obtained by conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch revealed that Ben Rhodes, assistant to the president and deputy national security adviser for strategic communication and speechwriting, outlined “goals” for then-U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice to meet in explaining the attack and protests occurring across the Middle East.
One goal was “to underscore that these protests are rooted in an Internet video and not a broader failure of policy,” and another was “to reinforce the president and
White House spokesman Jay Carney was among the officials to receive the email.
Vallely, chairman of Stand Up America and a member of the Citizens Commission on Benghazi, told J.D. Hayworth on “America’s Forum” on Newsmax TV that everyone involved in the cover-up, including the president, must go.
“We knew in some way that this would go back to the White House,” Vallely said. “We needed the proof of it, now we have it. What we have now basically is an invitation to seriously defraud the voting public, which in my opinion is just another indication that we need to impeach President Obama and we need the resignation of [Vice President Joe] Biden and others who were involved in this,” he said Wednesday.

Vallely pointed to the fact that Rhodes’ brother David is the president of CBS News, and accused the major networks of being just as culpable in the cover-up.
“From that standpoint, there is collusion with ABC, CBS, NBC,” Vallely said. “They all need to be taken to task for collusion with the cover-up. How can you lie to the American people, put politics before the truth? That to me is an offense to be reckoned with by the American people, by the House of Representatives and our Senate.”
Vallely was again critical of Speaker of the House John Boehner for his unwillingness to commission a special committee to investigate the attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya, which left four Americans dead, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.
“It’s up to Boehner to move, to do the select committee,” Vallely said. “He has over 189 signatories within the House of Representatives to do this. He refuses to do it. Boehner is no longer doing his job.”
Hoekstra, former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, told Hayworth on a later “America’s Forum” segment that Boehner has no more excuses to delay a House investigation.
“It was clear that this administration wanted to do everything that they could to make sure that this didn’t evolve from a video to actually being a discussion about the president’s foreign policy because the president’s foreign policy in Libya, in Egypt and with Iran clearly was in tatters,” Hoekstra said. “He didn’t want to have that debate. That’s why they brought up the whole topic of the video.
“The House is the only way we can do an effective investigation. They’ve got to get off their heels, they’ve got to go aggressively after this. At one time, Speaker Boehner said, if there’s any indication that that this leads to the White House, you know we’re going to go after this.
“This now leads the video story, the big lie of the video directly into the White House. Speaker Boehner has to encourage and demand that his chairmen work together and get this investigation going full speed ahead.”

The existence of emails confirming the White House fabricated linkage of the 2012 Benghazi attack to an anti-Muslim video in an attempt to aid President Barack Obama's re-election bid is enough to warrant impeachment proceedings, says retired U.S. Army Gen. Paul Vallely.

On Tuesday, emails obtained by conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch revealed that Ben Rhodes, assistant to the president and deputy national security adviser for strategic communication and speechwriting, outlined "goals" for then-U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice to meet in explaining the attack and protests occurring across the Middle East.

Obama’s Benghazi Lie Isn’t Just Impeachable… It’s… Treasonous? (According to Roger Simon)

Judge Jeanine Pirro used her time Saturday night to unload both barrels on Obama’s now confirmed lie about what really happened in Benghazi. The Judge asked a simple question… ” Why wouldn’t we impeach this president for not protecting and defending Americans in the bloodbath known as Benghazi?



Impeachment certainly would fit here. But what about treason? PJ Media’s Roger Simon thinks it’s time to start using the “T” word with regards to the Benghazi scandal.

Is it treason when you put your own reelection above the good of your country and the lives of its citizens? If so, Barack Obama committed treason in leaving the four Americans to die in Benghazi.

Our Constitution defines it this way: “Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.”

Aid and comfort to the enemy — what is that?

When you ascribe an action to the protest of a video when it is actuality a planned terror attack by Ansar al-Shariah, an established offshoot of al-Qaeda (if that’s not your “enemy,” then who) — and you knew that all along, you watched it live without doing anything, and then you told those who wanted to help to “stand down”? Meanwhile, our government may have been conspiring to arm another offshoot of al-Qaeda in Syria.

How much more treasonous can you get? Benedict Arnold was a piker.

Benghazi Smoking Gun Beginning to Point Directly At Hillary Clinton


Yesterday Norvell Rose wrote an excellent piece looking at ways the Benghazi scandal may spill into Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign. Norvell provides a fantastic overview of why this is all getting ugly for Clinton. For a quicker summary, though, we need not look any further than a piece published by the NY Post.

Benghazi Mess Points to Hillary and Possibly Criminal Cover Up

The person who should worry most is former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

For example, until now we have seen zero documentation to explain how Clinton out of the blue concocted the statement she issued on the evening of the attacks, which first raised the notion that the attacks came “as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet.”

In all the material released by the administration to date, there are no notes, e-mails or drafts of Clinton’s Sept. 11, 2012 statement similar to the back-and forth e-mail chain released last year showing how the CIA talking points evolved during three days of inter-agency discussion.

And yet surely such documents exist. We know from the public record that Clinton was getting real-time information on the attacks. She understood — because her own officials were telling her — that there were no protests in Benghazi and that the attacks on the Special Mission Compound and on the Annex were a well-planned terrorist assault.

Hours after the attack Secretary of State Hillary Clinton went out in public and blatantly lied to America. Whether or not this lie was a decision made by Clinton or if she was simply doing what Obama told her to do is something we may never know, but we do know she knew it had nothing to do with a video, yet she blamed the video.

And she was the first top official to do it.

Think about that for a minute.

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin blasted the Obama administration for lying about the Benghazi attacks last week again and praised House Republicans for deciding to form a Select Committee to try to unearth what led to the deaths of four Americans and the possible cover-up.
Last week, Judicial Watch released emails it obtained through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) that revealed that White House national security official Ben Rhodes sent an email to administration officials to emphasize that the attacks occurred because of an “internet video” and not because of broader policy failures.
“You lied again, Team Obama, but light shall shine on what’s hidden in Washington’s darkness with Republican lawmakers’ laser like focus on the truth,” Palin said. “America deserves nothing less.”
She went on to praise Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC), who will be leading the Select Committee.
“With gravel in his gut and pitbull tenacity THIS is what America needs,” Palin wrote. “Thank you, Congressman Trey Gowdy and others who are determined to avenge the murders of our brave Americans in Benghazi, and will also prove the insulting, sinful Obama Administration Benghazi cover-up.”
