And least we forget this charmer

Nancy Pelosi Howler: Obamacare 'Largely Responsible' for Bringing Down Deficit

The multi-trillion dollar government program Obamacare’s not even implemented yet, and Democrats are making claims about the wonderiffic cure-all that even a traveling snake-oil salesman would find ludicrous.
Former and hopefully never-to-return Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi dogpiled on the laughable claims about an Obamacare program that is already three times original cost estimates:
“Many of the initiatives that he passed are what are coming to bear now, including the Affordable Care Act,” Pelosi said in an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes. “The Affordable Care Act is bringing the cost of health care in our country down in both the public and private sector. And that is what is largely responsible for the deficit coming down.”
As The Hill points out, the only reason any deficit reduction claim from Obamacare could ever be claimed is because it taxes the bejeezus out of people and companies in order to raise funds. In other words, the government is supposedly making deficit cuts by piling on taxes. Unable to comprehend this Washington doublespeak? Don’t worry, you’re not alone.
It’s impossible to get into just how absurd Nancy Pelosi’s claim is in a short space, but just a recent headline story from the Washington Examiner will suffice, “Insurers predict 100%-400% Obamacare rate explosion“:

Internal cost estimates from 17 of the nation’s largest insurance companies indicate that health insurance premiums will grow an average of 100 percent under Obamacare, and that some will soar more than 400 percent, crushing the administration’s goal of affordability.
New regulations, policies, taxes, fees and mandates are the reason for the unexpected “rate shock,” according to the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which released a report Monday based on internal documents provided by the insurance companies. The 17 companies include Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Kaiser Foundation.
When it’s all said and done, a productive segment of the economy will be turned into the U.S. post office with surgical equipment. The president claimed back when selling the soap about Obamacare that the U.S. would go “bankrupt” if the medical system wasn’t reformed. When’s the last time the government was able to provide any service cheaper, more efficiently, and with more attention to customer satisfaction than the private sector? Never happened, and never will.
Just yesterday, Nurse Nancy claimed that Obamacare would create more jobs for writers and cameramen, while Representative Janice Hahn from unhinged California said that the monstrous medical entitlement would lead to better marriages. If anybody believes the Democrats on economic policy at this point, there’s really no helping them.

And we can't forget this treasure from Pelosie:

    Or this one from Hillary!!!!

But wait don't forget this one either from Attorney General Holder!!!

Holder on IRS Scandal: 'I Have Ordered an Investigation'

On Tuesday, Attorney General Eric Holder, under fire for his own involvement in a Department of Justice scheme to grab months worth of Associated Press phone records, said that he would open an investigation into the Internal Revenue Service. The IRS is currently under heavy scrutiny for its admission last week that it discriminated against conservative non-profit applicants. Other media reports have stated that the IRS gave extra scrutiny to pro-Israel and Jewish groups as well.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney has been receiving more criticism lately for his attempts to defend the Obama administration from a string of scandals. But it’s not entirely his fault, since he warned us in 2006 that he probably wouldn’t be a good choice for the position:
The best press secretaries were very deft at serving both their boss, the President (the White House, the administration), and the press. And not… it’s a tricky job and I’m sure I wouldn’t be very good at it [emphasis added] … and not servicing either side and not embarrassing themselves. Not having to go the president saying “oh my god, I screwed up” frequently, and not, you know, making themselves look like they’re just spinning and not conveying any information in front of the press.
