It Never Was About the Environment

It Never Was About the Environment

The governments of Italy, France, and Germany Thursday flatly rejected U.S. President Donald Trump’s offer to renegotiate the Paris climate accord. “We deem the momentum generated in Paris in December 2015 irreversible and we firmly believe that the Paris Agreement cannot be renegotiated, since it is a vital instrument for our planet, societies and economies,” the leaders of the three countries said in a joint statement.

Earlier Wednesday, Trump had announced that the U.S. would withdraw from the Paris agreement and immediately begin negotiations to re-enter on terms that are “fair to the United States.” The statement by French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel indicates that Europe would rather keep the U.S. out of the Paris climate agreement than permit the U.S. to re-enter on more favorable terms. That likely means that the U.S. will remain out of the agreement for the foreseeable future.

And there you have it. The Paris climate change “treaty” was never about climate change. It was about economics. If it were really about the environment, European leaders would welcome the chance to renegotiate it rather than scrap it altogether. If the fate of planet earth hinges on it, you wouldn’t dig in your heels and say, “No. We won’t have anything to do with you if we can have it 100 percent our way.”

The United States should not renegotiate the accord under any condition. Its terms are dishonest and the science behind it is entirely questionable, if not arbitrary.

Fossil fuels and other human innovations have done more to improve the standard of life on earth than any politically and economically motivated faux treaty ever could have done.

The intellectual and political trash who run these global socialist nations are still in denial. They no longer have their precious Barack Obama to allow them to steamroll over American interests, demolishing human ingenuity and the advancements that only unhampered capitalism can bring us all. The reason they no longer have their precious Barack Obama is because approximately half of the United States detests the anti-American mentality exhibited by that wretched parasite every moment he held office. He was one of them, but not one of us — not half of us, at least.

Whatever becomes of America and the ingenuity and advancement it provided the world more than any society in all of human history, it will not go down without a fight. And watching the expression on the faces of these idiots in the capitals of global-socialism at the demise of their pitiful attempt to annihilate man’s progress on earth is a delightful and compelling sight to behold.

I'm really glad they rejected Trump's offer to renegotiate. We're free of this globalist scum at least from the "climate change" fraud against our country and citizens. Thank God and Good Riddance.

Well done, Mr. President and thank you so very very much.
