Family Guy Episode about Illegals
Family Guy is on right now and it's about illegal immigrants and how hard it is for them in this country. Basically Peter found out he was born in Mexico so although has been married to a legal citizen for 20 yrs is still an illegal. They had a scene where he had to pass an immigration test and failed. Now it's just multiple low paying jobs and a sob story. Then Peter's father in law hired him to basically be a slave and it depicts the slums he has to live in, how the boss mistreats him. Then the mob of illegals try to force Mr. Peterschmidt (the boss) to give everyone legal status but he only gives it to Peter. Peter goes on to talk about how hard it is to be an illegal.
Anyone else watching this? It's too bad because I used to like family guy until they became bleeding hearts.. How about they do an episode about how hard it is to be a working citizen when your tax dollars go to illegals and you and your family go without!

I just watched it.
It was very sad because obviously the goal of the episode was to confuse the terminology of illegal alien, illegal immigrant, and immigrants.
It was also very obvious that the 'moral' of the story is that everyone in America is a descendant of immigrants and the bad guys are the border watch people and the evil rich corporatist.

They showed a preview earlier. I have never watched the show, and now I know I never will. It will be interesting to see if there is any backlash. The pro-illegals must really be desperate.

Maybe they hired illegals to do the writing for the striking American writers...

First time poster/new member here! Probably a lot of preaching to the choir here so please bear with me!
I just watched Family Guy also and I have to admit it infuriated me - I wanted to vommit. So I did a search on the Internet for it and found this forum.
I also had never watched the show before and will surely never do so again. I was most disgusted by the line of dialogue where the dog refers to it as "post 9-11 paranoia". To that I say BS. I just retired from the military and I have been disgusted by this invasion of America for many years now, not just since 9/11. Just today I pulled into a Burger King drive through in an area of town that is predominantly Hispanic and I was spoken to in Spanish!
What offends me the most is the simple thought of granting citizenship to a group of people whose first act in coming here is to break our laws. To me that cheapens the sacrifices made by every veteran who ever served, especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice. It cheapens what it means to be an American.
And then there is the issue of their children, citizens upon birth because of some archaic law whose original purpose was to protect the children of slaves from being denied citizenship; not to give illegals free reign to have children at an exponential rate.
There are thousands of people who would love to become citizens; to become Americans, who do not have the luxury of barging in simply because of the proximity to our borders. Yet the group of people most responsible for beaking our immigration laws also happen to be the ones this country (or at least big business and government) caters to the most. I am so SICK of seeing and hearing Spanish everywhere I go, to the point I wonder sometimes if I am even in the US anymore. What ever happened to E Pluribus Unum?? "From many, One" - one culture, one language, one nation - to galvanize us all as Americans. Period!
If the illegals have it so rough, tough. That is their choice to come here and be exploited. Nobody I know wants them here because that dollar they might save at Wal Mart due to cheaper labor costs pales in comparison to the hidden social costs dumped on all of us average Joe Citizen tax payers.
Uggh...I could go on about this for hours. The bottom line is, this country is being invaded and it must stop.... and soon. And that is not "post 9-11 paranoia". Funny how that is what it gets labeled when in reality it is just a concerend citizen speaking up in defense of their country and its laws.

Welcome shaba137!!! Please stay and help us fight this, we do a lot more than simply talk here, we are activists and best yet, we are a nationwide group with many connections.
I do not watch these kinds of shows, have not since the beginnings of the Bevis and Butthead stupidity, and NEVER the Simpsons. I have seen small parts of the Family Guy and told my kids (14 and 10) that they were not watching it, now I will say that even more so.
Coming out of Hollywood, this should not surprise ANYONE. The place is infected with liberals and communists/socialists."In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned. When his cause succeeds however, the timid join him, For then it costs nothing to be a Patriot."
