Farmers Branch: Other ways to same conclusion?

Farmers Branch wants illegal aliens out and they want to hit them where it hurts. One of life's necessities, shelter.

Recently I talked with supporters about it and we brain stormed a few things that FB could do to get the same result and possibly without a legal fight.

    - Require Rentals with parking lots/garages/driveways to keep and file a copy of all driving members state issued Drivers License and a copy of their proof of insurance.

    - Do random 'living' checks. The fire marshall should have the authority to check how many people are living in a home. Many times illegals crowd into small apartments or trailers and violate the fire code.

what other ways can you think of?

I have always thought that people who work should have to register the name of their childcare giver in case of an emergency. Too many people leave kids alone when they go to work and this is dangerous. It is also a hazard because small unattended children can inadvertantly turn on ovens or play with matches and start a fire.

Also landlords can write into the lease a limit on how many people can occupy a unit. They should wrtie into the lease the names of the people who will be occupying the unit. If someone new moves in then someone has to move out....and the lease must be updated. If they break that rule it could be grounds for eviction

I so agree with everyone, it makes common sense to know who you are renting to and only have a 'humane' number of people living in the house. But who do we have to actually enforce this stuff? You move one family out and get ten more . . . if you can even lawfully remove one. Seems the government is on the side of the criminals and their 'feelings.' Not Americans!!!!

In most states there are already a legal limit to the number of people that can live in an apartment. The problem is that those that aided and abetted illegals have told them not to open doors when people knock and don't let them in. Americans are not going to let firemarshalls knock down doors, they get upset when police do it.
