RE: HB 11, HB 33, HB 148, and HB 164

As a taxpaying legal citizen of the great Commonwealth of Kentucky, it is most refreshing to see, at long last, the above indicated bills that have been introduced
for the physical and financial protection of our citizenry. I would ask that you support each and every one of these bills as a start to regaining control of our towns, cities, and
Commonwealth and discouraging this overwhelming illegal invasion.

It is all too obvious that this invasion is enabled by employers that do not want to pay a “living wage” and expect taxpayers to subsidize their employees through all manner of social services…….to the extent that our municipalities, schools, and hospitals are being overwhelmed. The negative cost is outrageous and continues to grow as long as law
enforcement and legislators turn a “blind eye”. These employers further escape things such as workers compensation, taxes, and unemployment compliance because the illegals they hire often will not report anything due to their illegal status. Win, win for employers; lose, lose for everyone else! Attrition through enforcement is the obvious solution which is addressed by the proposed bills indicated above.

Immigrants have long been a part of the evolution of the United States-LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. They stood in line, filed the proper paperwork, learned the language,
and followed the rule of law. The invasion we are experiencing now has made a mockery of every legal immigrant, and denies citizenship to those all over the world that genuinely
want to become Americans. To reward the criminal behavior of these invaders – breaking into our country/commonwealth, stealing identities, forging documents, and killing 25 Americans a day must stop now, and the Kentucky legislature has an opportunity to protect us through this legislation.

As other states pass similar-and in some cases, more stringent- legislation it is imperative that Kentucky protect its citizens to avoid becoming a “safe haven” for this criminal behavior. I look forward to your support.

Best regards,
