URGENT ACTION NEEDED

WHETHER THERE IS A MASSIVE AMNESTY FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS IS UP TO YOU!

CALL NOW, THURSDAY 4/14/2005!!

The Senate this moment is debating non-immigration amendments to the Defense
Spending bill right now.

Sen. Mikulski's effort to quadruple importation of lower-skilled foreign workers
could come up at any time. And AgJobs would follow.

Republican Senator Larry Craig (R-ID) demanded Wednesday that the Senate attach his
AgJOBS proposal to the Iraq supplemental spending bill despite strong opposition
from the both parties.

While the Senate Republican leadership argued that Craig?s massive amnesty plan
would inevitably cause a surge in illegal immigration, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA)
warned that the AgJOBS bill would offer a "nirvana" to illegal aliens contemplating
employment in the United States. "This is going to be a huge magnet" for illegal
aliens, Feinstein told her colleagues. "Mark my words," she said, "[AgJOBS> could
bring millions of people into this country -- workers, their spouses, their minor
children."

Upon Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist?s (R-TN) recommendation to reconsider the
AgJOBS amnesty later this year, Craig refused to budge unless he could be guaranteed
a specific date to debate his bill this spring.

Adding fuel to the fire on the Senate floor, Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) plans to
offer an amendment that could potentially triple the number of H-2B workers in the
United States at any one time. The Senate debate is expected to resume again
Thursday and could continue into next week if Craig persists in pressuring the
Senate to attach his amendment to the war spending bill.

Phone Democratic Senators who ARE AgJobs amnesty co-sponsors but who voted the RIGHT
way yesterday with Sen. Feinstein:

And urge them to vote against any attempt to attach amnesties later today.

Phone Democratic Senators who are good all the way on AgJobs amnesty. They have NOT
co-sponsored the amnesty and they also voted the RIGHT way yesterday with Sen.
Feinstein

Unfortunately, there aren't many of these kinds of Democrats

Robert Byrd (WV) ? 202/224-3954
(He's solid. Probably not much need to call.)

Mary Landrieu (LA) ? 202/224-5824
(Very important to call her and encourage her on.)

Harry Reid (NV) ? 202/224-3542
(He's pretty bad on amnesties, but for some reason stuck with keeping things cleaner
yesterday. Calls to him should thank him for voting with Sen. Feinstein and
emphasizing that the Democratic Party will be far better off if it take Feinstein's
lead on all of these amnesty issues.)

Phone Republican Senators who ARE AgJobs amnesty co-sponsors and also voted the
wrong way against Sen. Cornyn and Pres. Bush

These are the most anti-worker, open-borders, industry-purchased Republican Senators.

Sen. Cornyn, Republican from Texas, introduced the resolution with Sen. Feinstein to
express the sentiment of wanting to bar all amnesties from consideration of this
Defense bill. He made it clear that Pres. Bush is opposed to measures like AgJobs
that reward illegal aliens with permanent residence.

But the following Republicans voted against Sen. Cornyn, Pres. Bush and the
resolution. All of these are also co-sponsors of the AgJobs amnesty.

Your phone calls need to come at these offices with such intensity that at least
their staff are embarrassed to be working for these Senators.

Phone Republican Senators who ARE AgJobs amnesty co-sponsors but who voted the RIGHT
way yesterday with Sen. Cornyn and Pres. Bush

These Republicans are the most vulnerable to changing their minds on the amnesty.

Because their President and their Party's Senate leadership are strongly opposed to
AgJobs amnesty, you can appeal to Party affiliations.

These Republicans have been willing to identify themselves with massive amnesties
for illegal aliens by signing the bill previously. But they balked a little
yesterday at the thought of actually having a roll call vote confirming their
support for illegal immigration.

They voted for Cornyn's resolution that none of these amnesties and immigration
increases should be attempted for this Defense bill.

Your phone calls to these people should be thankful for their support of Sen.
Cornyn, Sen. Frist and Pres. Bush and of keeping amnesties off this defense bill.

And urge them to vote against any attempt to attach amnesties later today.
