I suspect it all about the 'ole mighty buck'

I'd bet my last dollar that the foreign teachers are getting paid substantially less than the American teachers. Perhaps someone knowledgable in this area can shed some light on the subject.

A little more to it than that. The fact of the matter is that our University Schools of Education nationwide simply aren't producing math and science teachers. Most contemporary School of Education grads. are low SAT scorers and schooled in multiculturalism, egaltarianism, re-written history and "civics", power point, twittering, community organizing, and building self-esteem. Most are innumerate when it comes to sixth grade algebra.

There are many, many experienced and qualified AMERICANS who could fill the jobs that are being doled out to people from other countries; and this is not only in the teaching profession, but in most all professions across the board.

It's about time that we establish the same kind of laws that exist in England, Australia and Canada; as well as in most other foreign countries: Americans cannot take a job in those countries unless that job is one that cannot be filled by that country's citizens. If it works so well for England, Australia, Canada and other nations, it should work for us, too. In other words, American jobs should not be given out to anyone from foreign countries unless those jobs cannot be filled by qualified American citizens. And there are many qualified Americans, I say once again.

Is it any wonder why people come here from other countries to get jobs, especially now from Europe? Because the Socialist system of the European Union makes it difficult for its own citizens to make a substantial wage. So they come over here and take jobs (and the benefits) from Americans who need those jobs and those benefits. They should work in their own countries and do something to turn that system around. Sure, they can come over here and work... if there are no Americans who can adequately fill a position. It's not being unkind, but we do have to think of ourselves. We cannot give out what we do not have; especially when our own Americans are going without work! Jobs are at a premium now, so we should keep doling them out to foreigners? I think not.

We are seeing the integrity of American citizens being ground into the dust and trampled upon by those who would sell our rights and our freedoms right down the river. And all because Americans are either too damned timid or else too damned stupid to see what is happening in this situation. What happened to the term "Don't Tread on Me?" Americans would do best to take off the childish baseball caps (if one has successfully passed adolescence) and put on their thinking caps; grow up, become adults and take responsibility for themselves and for their country. They should stop behaving like childish co-dependents upon the government for welfare bail-outs and demand that the government protect American jobs, our basic freedoms and our Constitutional rights.
Remember that*all Politicians work for us, the U.S. Taxpaying Citizens.* If they are not doing their jobs to your liking, FIRE THEM in the next elections.

American Citizen only have to have a GED to teach in a school system if it is necessary.

So if you are an immigrant or illegal alien do you only have to have a GED, too?
