Thread: ALIPAC Exchange with REM Basist Mike Mills

This post is to document the the Twitter exchange between ALIPAC President William Gheen and the bass player of R.E.M. Mike Mills. Mills and R.E.M. lead vocalist Michael Stipe issued a cease and desist order to the Donald Trump campaign using a lot of foul language because a few seconds of their song It's the End of the World As We Know It was played at a Trump rally in DC protesting the Iran deal.

While copyright law allows anyone in America to use audio snippets of songs less than 30 seconds long, R.E.M.'s Mills & Stipe made it clear that they feel only those loyal to their leftist, Democrat Party, socialist ideology are allowed to play R.E.M. songs.

R.E.M. did not put any warnings or disclaimers on any of their products when selling albums to conservatives and liberals alike. If I'm not allowed to play a snippet of R.E.M. songs on the albums I've bought from them over the years now that I'm no longer an indoctrinated liberal, then I'd like a refund! -- William Gheen

It's really a shame when musicians or other performers want to give someone like Donald Trump a hard time, when all he wants to do is fix our country and get US back on track. I guess successful musicians are living so much of the High Life, they don't understand what illegal immigration, excess legal immigration and free trade treason have done to our country and its ordinary citizens.

So to put it in their terms, illegal immigration is to ordinary citizens what illegal CD counterfeiting is to musicians, except 1000 fold over, because when an illegal alien steals the job of an ordinary citizen, they've stolen everything they have, could have or will have, whereas for musicians while illegal copying and distribution of your music reduces your income, it doesn't take it all.

Every musician and artist in the United States should be supporting Trump, helping him to win, so he can be President and do what we need him to do, which is stop illegal immigration, excess legal immigration and free trade treason, bring our good jobs back home, put American Workers back to work at reflated wages, and get our country straight again.

After all, Americans can't buy movie tickets or CD's with Food Stamps, or haven't you heard?!
