Former NFL Player Shawne Merriman Supports Donald Trump

The latest athlete to endorse Donald Trump for president is former NFL player Shawne Merriman.

When Merman was asked if Patriots quarterback Tom Brady “should get a pass” for supporting Trump the former Chargers linebacker didn’t even hesitate to hit back.

“I took Donald Trump’s side,” Merriman told the TMZ reporter.

Merman continued by saying Trump is more honest than other politicians and added that, “I think he should be” when the subject of Trump becoming president came up.

Some in the athletic community are very drawn towards the billionaire real estate mogul. UFC president Dana White and Heisman winner Herschel Walker both have endorsed Trump for the presidency.
