    All right!!!

Cancel the Patriot Act....dig a hole....bury it.....cover it with 10 feet of nuclear containment concrete.

If someone wants a Patriot Act, then they need to consult with some Patriots and we'll tell them what a Patriot Act should have in it starting with:

Any American who puts a foreign interest above the interest of the United States for another nation or individual that would adversely affect the American People or threaten in any manner the rights of the American People or the sovereignty of the United States shall be considered an enemy combatant of the people of the United States and guilty of Treason, arrested without warrants, detained at unknown locations, denied contact with the outside world, and never heard from again.

This is the fillabuster as it relates to the 16 provisions, not the PA as a hole. Nontheless it is a blow to the Bush as his NWO buddies.

Senate rejects reauthorization of USA Patriot Act

    By Jesse J. Holland
    ASSOCIATED PRESS

    9:42 a.m. December 16, 2005

WASHINGTON – The Senate on Friday rejected attempts to reauthorize several provisions of the USA Patriot Act as infringing too much on Americans' privacy and liberty, dealing a huge defeat to the Bush administration and Republican leaders.
In a crucial vote early Friday, the bill's Senate supporters were not able to get the 60 votes needed to overcome a threatened filibuster by Sens. Russ Feingold, D-Wis., and Larry Craig, R-Idaho, and their allies. The final vote was 52-47.

President Bush, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and Republicans congressional leaders had lobbied fiercely to make most of the expiring Patriot Act provisions permanent, and add new safeguards and expiration dates to the two most controversial parts: roving wiretaps and secret warrants for books, records and other items from businesses, hospitals and organizations such as libraries.

Feingold, Craig and other critics said that wasn't enough, and have called for the law to be extended in its present form so they can continue to try and add more civil liberties safeguards. But Bush, Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist and House Speaker Dennis Hastert have said they won't accept a short-term extension of the law.

If a compromise is not reached, the 16 Patriot Act provisions expire on Dec. 31.

Frist changed his vote at the last moment after seeing the critics would win. He decided to vote with the prevailing side so he could call for a new vote at any time. He immediately objected to an offer of a short term extension from Democrats, saying the House won't approve it and the president won't sign it.

    No compromise; No Patriot Act!!

Dig a friggin hole; throw that anti-democratic evil in the hole; cover it with 10 feet of nuclear containment grade concrete and NEVER SPEAK OF IT AGAIN!!

The Patriot Act isn't about terrorists. It's about locking up anyone the government doesn't like.

Right now we know that the group they hate most is US.

    1 + 1 does still equal 2.

You never give a distant friend; fairweather friend; or a non-friend this kind of power over you.

    DEFEAT THE PATRIOT ACT!

Then bury it in same hole we buried slavery.

Good, there should be no "permanent" renewals of any new powers.

How many times can we say: "You failed to use the vast powers you already have, why have more? they wont be used to protect us."

Who knows what future "leader" will use it to enslave us?

Let the Congress vote on it every 5 or 10 years, that way , we can take those powers away from President Clinton in HER second term <barf>.

(except , by 2010, we will all be strapped to a gourney, in a "re-education " hospital, too drugged on tranquilizers to write our congressmen, to defeat the vote. lol)

    GLORY BE!!

And, WHERE, pray tell, is Bush's MANDATE???!!!!!

This is a real SLAP IN THE FACE to Wackident and he deserves it.

Have y'all heard in the news in the past few days about some secret spying that has been going on at the Pentagon?? All I know is that it was against American people who disagreed with the administration's positions and I THINK it was on Iraq. Boy, I bet WE have been WATCHED like crazy. They said they were watching internet sites, blogs, etc. But, they weren't supposed to be doing it and they are SUPPOSED to be destroying it. Don't you think this is a LITTLE LATE IN THE GAME if they've been spying on AMERICAN CITIZENS WHO DISAGREE with their positions???
Have any of y'all heard this???
