You will never change my mind Judy. In my opinion, Planned Parenthood has acted like a human chop shop.

That's okay, Newmexican! We'll just have to agree to disagree. After all, I'm the one who wants to terminate Medicaid coverage for all pregnancy and delivery services, because if you can't afford the doctors bills or hospital services to have a baby, then you probably shouldn't be having one to begin with, let alone at taxpayers expense.
Judy, I am pro life all the way , and I agree 100%! Giving taxpayer funded prenatal care to illegal aliens, no questions asked, has resulted in the anchor baby situation we have in this country today. Taxpayer money shouldn't pay one dime for Illegal aliens, and when they present for non emergency care, prenatal or otherwise, they should be reported and deported. The mom can certainly deliver her child in her home country, without expecting taxpayers to support her and the child for the next 18 years.
Absolutely. Thank you Hattiecat for your support! I'm Pro-Choice which means I support the girl or woman and whatever decision she makes, but without federal assistance for either decision. States and local government, charity hospitals and other "charities" can help pay their expenses if they want to. But taxpayer families have a hard enough time supporting their own families and paying their own bills, so to expect these families to support another family whose breeding children they can't support on their own, that is just wrong, wrong, wrong. Working families plan their families and tens of millions of Americans have had fewer children than they might have otherwise because they didn't feel they could afford it, so it makes no sense for them to restrict their own families because of tax burdens funding other families who breed without restriction. It's just wrong, immoral, and a form of Communism.

ACLU Demands Religious Groups Provide ABORTIONS For Illegal Immigrants

The American Civil Liberties Union will seek a federal court order compelling the U.S. government to release documents related to federal contracts with religious relief agencies that assist illegal immigrants.
The ACLU is seeking the information over its concerns that a huge majority of women and underage girls who illegally immigrate to the United States endure rape and other forms of sexual assault, according to a press release obtained by the Arizona Daily Independent.
Specifically, the venerable civil rights organization estimates, “between 60 and 80 percent of women and girls who cross the border are sexually assaulted.”
Does the ACLU want to clamp down on the massive border surge of the Obama era to prevent such intolerable human rights violations? No. Of course not. Don’t be ridiculous.
Instead, the ACLU wants to force religious organizations to pay for abortions for illegal immigrants who have been raped and become pregnant.
The civil rights group also wants religious groups which receive federal funding to give out free or subsidized contraception, suggesting that such assistance is necessary “to meet the basic needs” of underage teen illegal immigrants.
The faith-based organizations “impose their religious beliefs on these teens by denying them access to contraception, emergency contraception, and abortion,” the ACLU argued, according to the Daily Independent.
“Many unaccompanied teenagers come into the U.S. fleeing abuse and torture in their home countries. Many have been sexually abused or assaulted or forced into prostitution,” said ACLU Reproductive Freedom Project attorney Brigitte Amiri.
Amiri gave virtually this same stock quote back in 2008 in a press release entitled “Bush Administration Blocks Medical Services For Immigrant Teens In U.S. Care” — except she said just “some have been sexually abused or assaulted or forced into prostitution.”
The current fracas involves a draft rule by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Refugee Resettlement that will force American religious relief agencies to provide abortions and contraception services to the illegal immigrants those groups serve.
As the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops gently explained in February, forcing a Catholic group or an evangelical group to pay for abortions or contraception creates “moral concerns.”
The new rule would leave faith-based groups with no choice but “to restrict their work,” which “could create an unmanageable backlog for services” for unaccompanied minor children.
“We believe that, through practical discussions, we can find a resolution that allows the government to fulfill its obligation to care for unaccompanied children, while also respecting the religious and moral beliefs of faith-based organization that, to date, have provided such critical care for this vulnerable population,” the bishops’ group said.
Six out of the nine national refugee resettlement groups in the United States are faith-based agencies, the bishops also noted.

No religious group should be involved with these people. These people should be in government detention until they're deported. And absolutely the girls and women should have access to abortion procedures if they want them while in detention. Ideally none of this would be necessary if the government was doing it's job and deporting them within 24 to 48 hours like they're supposed to.
If you remove legal abortions, you will force women to find alternative methods such as un-professionals in hotel rooms. Some women have died getting botox (actually some kind of construction material) injections for larger derrieres - believe it or not! One woman traveled from London to Philadelphia to have her life ended in an airport hotel room from such injections.
Statistics already show that closing clinics forces women to wait longer for an appointment, the fetus becoming more of an infant than tissue forming one.
Low income women need access w/o paying or at least lower costs than a Beverly Hills facility. Women/ young girls need better education also. And clinics need to get their act together, including planned parenthood.
We have a morning after pill, we have 10days after missed menses extractions, beyond that 6-8 weeks should be the cut off point unless a problem is discovered with the child or the mother. Let us remember, it takes 2 to tango, let us not burden the woman solely.
Yes, I agree, except that I think government should just stay out it altogether and focus its attention and resources on securing our borders, fixing our economy, paying off the debt, and protecting our rights. After all, setting rules that restrict women's rights to control their own lives and bodies is not one of its authorities of or governments under the US Constitution so all this meddling in the personal lives of women whether by feds or the states is unconstitutional to begin with, seems to me.

So we agree that federal government should not be providing any funding to planned parenthood? All federal funding to planned parenthood, while logged otherwise in the books, does actually free up money to provide abortions.Quote:
