What Would Happen if GWB Said This One Word?

    "Out."

Does anyone think it would have an effect? I wonder what would happen?

    What would happen if

In my opinion, not much would happen. GWB lost credibility with me when he said we can not deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

As a citizen of the greatest country in the world, I say we can try.

    he said we can not
When I was little and would say, "I can't do this or that." My father would say, "can't is a coward and afraid to try." Maybe that is what Bush is. A coward and afraid to try to deport 12+ million illegal aliens.

I think you hit the nail on the head. If he told them to pack up and leave, he knows that there will be civil unrest all over the country by these illegals. He doesn't have the guts to stand up and enforce the law (I don't care whether it was his illegal nanny or the man in the moon that raised him). I say what ever this country has got to go through to get them out, so be it. It would be very like the Mexican illegal immigrant to rape, pillage and burn on his way out. I base this on what I've seen in the last year and I think that this is how they would respond. We will have to deal with that when the time comes. Out with all of the illegals now!

I can tell you this much, if they were ordered out of this country, they would`nt just pack up and walk out.
I do know that here in California every US Citizen would have to guard their property with a shot in reach.
And that`s no stretch of the imagination.

It's hard to say. The Mexican government would probably encourage them to cause trouble. But I believe a large number of them would simply say that it isn't working anymore and they would go back and maybe even start working on making whatever country they came from a better country.

Whatever they would do, I believe we would just have to deal with it. It would eventually be over and people from around the world who have it in mind to come to America illegally would think twice.

As long as they think the president of the U.S. is going to cooperate with illegal activity there will be no change. This is never going to work.

The president must stand by the laws of this country, he should never be seen as being an accomplice or supportive of illegal activity of any kind. There is no room for a president to be anything less than supportive of law and order in America.

I heard something about him being concerned that terrorists see him as being in control....or something like that. He doesn't want them to see him as weak.

Well, when terrorists hear that there are at the very least 12 million people who have managed to enter the U.S. illegally, they probably laugh all the way to the Mexican border.

He can either handle this or he can't. We know there are other leaders in America who could, would and want to deal with it properly.

Here's the message: If you enter the U.S. illegally your life will be unpleasant, you will eventually be caught and deported.

George Bush has never been strong enough to make it clear that he is 100% against illegal immigration and that it is the wrong thing to do. He is wishy-washy in his words and he sends many mixed messages. This is an indication of a weak president, who cannot stand up against a large and growing number of people who believe that it is acceptable to disregard the rule of law in America.
