be sure to click her curriculum vita link at her faculty home page and read her long resume. She's completely "eat up with it" as we say. Amazing how she publishes all these intellectualized treatisies linking geography to feminist studies and the like. And she's a real hard core backwoods camper doing her Geo-Sociological research in primitive rural Mexico. I'd be curious to see if she's ever stridently denounced the widespead level of mysogeny in most all sectors of Mexican culture that in its most extreme forms encountered among Mexican hillbilly indigenous peoples includes sale of child brides arranged between families at the low end to the de-facto banning of mini-skirts on the campus of La Universidad Autonoma de Mexico's Culiacan, Sinaloa campus (40K students- University of Michigan in size, and the men there can't control their "urges") to rampant uncontolled serial murders of prostitutes and schoolgirls in Juarez and Tijuana. (most at the hands of Mexican men)

And this woman appears comfortable with force feeding our nation with unvetted self-selected human imports from such a culture?

Seems to me if she loves Mexico so much she should feel free to move there. Since she's spending so much time working to the betterment of that country and not this one what's stopping her?
