GOP cannibals devour hottest Republican
They're falling all over themselves to break Ronald Reagan's 11th Commandment: "Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican."
And now the hottest name in the Republican Party has a big, fat GOP target on his back.

WASHINGTON – Fox News host Chris Wallace said he received an unprecedented outpouring of opposition research and pointed questions for his scheduled interview Sunday with Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas.
But it didn’t come from Democrats. It came from Republicans.

“As soon as we listed Ted Cruz as a guest this week, we got unsolicited research and questions – not from Democrats but from Republicans to hammer Ted Cruz,” said Wallace, in an interview with Karl Rove. “Why are Republicans so angry at Ted Cruz?”
Evidently he asked the right person.
Rove was armed for bear – and his target, too, was Cruz, whom he is angered with for leading an effort to stop Obamacare.
Rove said Cruz and Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, hatched an ill-conceived plan without consultation with their colleagues.
“Well, because this was a strategy laid out by Mike Lee and Ted Cruz without any consultation with their colleagues,” Rove said. “Mike Lee laid it out on July 9 without ever having brought it up at the Thursday meeting of the senators to say, ‘We’ve got an idea.’ I would say with all due respect to my junior senator from Texas, I suspect this was the first time that the endgame was described to any Republican senator. They had to tune into listen to you to find out what Ted’s next step was in the strategy. And look, you cannot build a congressional majority in either party for any kind of action unless you are treating your colleagues with a certain amount of respect and saying, ‘Hey, what do you think of my idea?’ And instead they have dictated to their colleagues through the media and through public statements and not consulted them about the strategy at all.”
