    2010 Census - Required Information???

Which questions, by law, do we have to answer? I'd really like to write a statement on my census form in regards to my opposition to illegal immigration, but I want to also make sure after I return it I don't get a census-taker visiting my house asking for answers to the questions I did not answer. Can I simply fill out how many people live in my household and leave the rest blank? I really wanna let the government know how pissed I am that illegal aliens are living in our country, evading taxes, and taking jobs away from Americans. Will doing this cause more trouble than it's worth?
Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented worker" is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist"........

I'm only answering that one question. I saw on TV that they will try up to 6 times to get you to do the whole thing. After that it's a $5000 fine. Well won't they be some busy if everyone only answered the one! LOL
It would take 10 more years for them to contact everyone in the US 6 times.

    About the Census Form
10 questions. 10 minutes. Discover how we collect the data that matters.
    Print|Share this page|AAA

Every question we ask is for a specific reason, to ensure response accuracy or to determine seats in Congress.

NOTE: YOU CANNOT FILL OUT THE FORM ONLINE.

The 2010 form: Shorter, easier to fill out

Now less is more. Because of changes to the process and the introduction of the American Community Survey, the 2010 Census form is shorter, making it even easier to fill in and send back. Explore the form and the questions we ask.
The 2010 Census form is just 10 questions, such as:

    Name
    Sex
    Age
    Date of birth
    Hispanic origin
    Race
    Household relationship
    If you own or rent
The census DOES NOT ask about the legal status of respondents or their Social Security numbers.

The mailing package from the Census Bureau consists of:

    The 10-question form
    A postage-paid envelope, Front | Back
In areas served by the United States Postal Service, postal workers will deliver the initial mailing in mid-March 2010. In all other areas, census takers will deliver the form packages between March 1 and April 30, 2010.

Once you get your form in the mail, fill it in and mail it back in the postage-paid envelope provided.

The Census Bureau does not send out any confirmations that your form was received.

Any request for census information from the Census Bureau will be clearly identified as coming from the U.S. Census Bureau and as OFFICIAL BUSINESS of the United States. It is a federal offense for anyone to pretend they represent the Census Bureau. Before your household receives a mailed form, a phone call or a visit from the Census Bureau, you will be given a few days notice with a letter from the Census Bureau Director.

will i get in trouble if i attach a note that says i refuse to answer the other questions so long as our government continues to aid & abet illegal aliens in america?

the census is only designed to get a count of the number of people in a given household so as to make the 435 house of rep districts.

Authorized penalties. The United States Code, Title 13, Chapter 7, coupled with the Sentencing Reform Act of 1984, Title 18, Section 3571, authorizes a fine of not more than $5000 for refusing to answer the census, and not more than $10,000 for willfully providing false information.

    Do they take checks?

You know this Whitehouse Regime loves to be bribed, try that first!
Try the Pay-To-Play style and make 'em feel at home.

I can't WAIT for the Rod Blagovich trial to start.
I think he could take down this Whitehouse if he wanted and I hope he does, by getting immunity for his and his wifes testimony!

They will ONLY get the # of people in my home. Nothing else, period. Let them get any other info from their good buddies at the IRS. They already know - at least they do IF you're a TAXPAYING AMERICAN.

    I had the same reaction.

Isn't this discrimination based on origin, since they don't ask about everyone elses origin? Sounds like it's in violation of the 14th Amendments equal protection clause, I think a good lawyer could make a good case for that.
