This is Why No One Likes You: Both Sides of Aisle Reek of Alcohol as Shutdown Nears

This is Why No One Likes You: Both Sides of Aisle Reek of Alcohol as Shutdown Nears

Both sides were doomed from the start. It’s impressively divisive at the moment. As demonstrated by Harry Reid, Democrats wouldn’t even sit down with Republicans because they said there was nothing to talk about. Republicans, fearing the worst for their country, felt they needed to go so far as to risking a government shutdown for their stance on Obamacare, thinking that was the only way to get Democrats to listen to them for a change.
How could it even get this way? You have a bunch of children in Washington.

Yeah, part of it is kind of funny and entertaining. But this is not something to take so lightly. This is history in the making, and those clowns up in Congress are pissing the moment away. Instead of being the leaders that become legendary for doing everything in their power to focus on how to turn the country in the right direction for decades of prosperity, they’re playing charades to see who can keep their seat in 2014. It’s a real bunch of leaders up there…

And guess what: This is the fault of Democrats led by a supremely inexperienced President Obama that didn’t spend enough time in Washington before his first term to begin to understand the ins-and-outs of a getting a divided Congress to work together for the greater good of the country. His only “accomplishments” came at the hands of a Democratic monopoly on Congress his first couple years, and those are overwhelmingly seen as unpopular and partisan. By virtually any standard, Obama lacks the qualities that epic leaders tend to show. He’s absent, he’s divisive, he’s insulting to Republicans, and he doesn’t come across as presidential when he does things like play golf the weekend before his beloved government shuts down like he didn’t know many opponents would bring it up to rile up their fans, subsequently enhancing the naturally inherent levels of division.

And with the help of an overly one-sided media, Democrats keep acting like Republicans are some crazy radicals, but they’re only representing what their constituents want. Sure, Ted Cruz may be overly dramatic by engaging in a 21 hour soliloquy that was pre-approved by Harry Reid (and had an agreed upon ending time), the Tea Party may look a little crazy at times with their hard right stances, and evangelical Christian conservatives may have contradictory stances at times, but simply take a look around the internet if you want some evidence of how many conservative Americans feel. There are tons of people that are supporting the general right side of the political spectrum in this battle. Sure, we could argue about some numbers here and there, but it’s not very difficult to tell that the country is split, so it’s not that crazy to think that one party would disagree with another …especially on a health care bill that is extremely complicated and has by many accounts negatively affected at least some Americans. Both sides have leverage in different ways and they are using it because they think it’s the right thing to do.
That’s not terrorism as the White House so pretentiously professed, that’s a functioning Constitutional Republic. It’s well within the guidelines of what could happen in America’s history, so what’s with all the dramatic rhetoric?
[Remember the 15 Government Shutdowns Before 1995. Yeah neither does anyone else.]

You know what I’d like to see? These clowns forced to sit down and talk it out …on national television. You want to see some entertaining TV that would put some heat on these lackluster politicians in Washington?
Better yet, let’s make it like a reality TV show – the worst politician gets voted off by Americans that call in each week. I think about the only thing that would motivate these fools is threatening them with public shame and lack of income.

I doubt their decision making could be worse when drunk than sober.
