    by Tyler Durden

Following chatter that former Alaska governor Sarah Palin was in line for Interior Secretary, ABC News reports that President-Elect Trump is considering her to lead Veterans Affairs.

Trump considering @SarahPalinUSA for VA Secretary-per our @shushwalshe (who wrote the book on the Palin!)
    10:24 AM - 30 Nov 2016

Palin was previously a strong supporter of the president-elect throughout his campaign. She endorsed the billionaire in January during his primary campaign, ahead of the Iowa state caucuses.

As The Right Scoop reports, earlier it was reported and confirmed by Kellyanne Conway that Sarah Palin was NOT in consideration for any position in the Trump administration:

NY POST – Sarah Palin’s isn’t in the running for a cabinet job in the Trump administration — at least as far as the senior adviser to his transition team is aware.

“I know that they’re close and that she’s been a great, loyal friend and adviser to him throughout the campaign, but I haven’t seen her as part of the cabinet mix,” Kellyanne Conway told Fox News’ “The Kelly File” on Monday night.

Conway quickly added: “But that doesn’t mean that she’s not.”

Either way, Conway suggested, the former vice presidential candidate’s voice would be heard
    .

But she’s not the only one in consideration for VA Secretary. It was also reported today that Pete Hegseth is also in consideration:

That would be awesome and Sarah Palin certainly deserves a position.

I wouldn't mind seeing Sarah Palin get a position, but I'd rather see this position go to a military retiree or at least a military veteran.

We need a sharp business person to run the VA. Get rid of the waste, fraud and abuse of our taxpayer money...and FIRE the people not doing their jobs. We need to turn the VA upside down. Not put another bureaucratic hack in there.

That is why I thought if Mitt must have a job...to put him here. Not Secretary of State.

Probably not enough prestige for Mitt. I'm guessing he would consider it a huge downgrade from Secretary of State and turn it down.

I would think there are plenty of military veterans out there that are capable of handling the business aspects such a job would entail. Military veterans come from all walks of life.

I was hoping that he would consider her for Energy.

    This sounds harsh.

It is possible (probable) others know more about Ms Palin that I, but she has just never seemed more to me than a celebrity wannabe. Please don't attack me, just my opinion.

It does seem this job needs someone more than a just a politician. I think it does needs someone who has some knowledge of veterans, and their needs. It does need someone who can look into all the waste - like decorators, statues, and art work.

Scott Brown wants to be head of Veterans Affairs and he was one of the first people to stand up for Trump. Scott is retired Military, 30+ years, a former US Senator, a JAG Lawyer, and when he was in the Senate, unfortunately so briefly, that awful Elizabeth Warren beat our wonderful Scott Brown, he was on the Committee for Veterans Affairs, maybe even Chairman. So he knows the military aspects, he know the legislative issues, wants to fix this agency for the Veterans, loves Trump and I think would do a great job.

I don't think anyone should get their knickers in knot yet, so far it is just a rumor..
