    H. J. RES. 8

    Go to http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtex ... ll=hj110-8,
Basically Serrano from NY wants to remove presidential term limits to repeal the 22nd ammendment. Then Bush could really become a dictator like he wants, God help us.

But, doesn't one or two years of Bush feel longer than 10 or 20 years of a passable president? In a human-years/dog-years sort way?

Passable? Who, FDR? We're still suffering under his legacy. As a matter of fact, most of the things that people are complaining about now are the resut of FDR's runaway federalism and his treason in giving away our gold specie.

Well, knowing how you feel about socialism that's understandable. But, through the misty lenses of time - it just seems like a very long second four years.

I thought that if Bush declared Martial Law, he would continue to be President. It had been rumored that that is what he was goiong to do. Declare Martial Law, open the now closed military bases for use against "restrictionists", and go ahead with the planned Security and Prosperity Partnership with Mexico and Canada.

CG I think that SS was a good implimentation but things got screwed up in the 60's when the feds decided to make it part of the oveall budget which meant they could spend SS funds on anything they wanted.
