Heard on Rush today Dems & Reps working on AMNESTY AGAIN

Don't know how he knows but sounds typical...I had just called Cantor's office about the E-verify (Jobs for Americans, as I call it) bill. I called right back & questioned them about this of course nobody knows anything but I did leave a message. Then I called McConnell's office...same ole, same ole.... unfortunately I don't trust establishment Republicans, especially since Cantor is talking to business about visa's for "the best & the brightest. Unfortunately, while talking to Cantor's office I told them they would think lightweights sank Perry by the time we got through if this was true....Please start calling and questioning them about this....

I haven't heard any more about this except mentions on radio.

I did notice that Newt is gaining in the polls. PLEASE refresh the memory lapsed republicans about good ol' Newt!

NEWT = Grover Norquist = AMNESTY

In 1998, Clinton was actually enforcing workplace laws and getting the illegal aliens out...until the Republican Georgia delegation sent a demand letter to the administration to stop it, because it was annoying their big vidalia onion grower donors.

    Newt "AMNESTY" Gingrich....Lest we forget!

Over the past few years, TheTownCrier has brought you facts about immigration and those pushing amnesty. Right at the front of the line was always CFR member, presidential wannabe Newt Gingrich, flanked by his open border, jihadist Muslim loving cohort, Grover Norquist.

Newt bashes conservatives every chance he gets and this week undermining Rep. Paul Ryan and his proposals to harness our national debt was the target. Newt will play conservative when it suits him, problem is it doesn't suit him often. Gingrich openly pushed the Bush/Kennedy/McCain AMNESTY......in a letter he wrote to the WSJ

Let me remind you of a few FACTS.
In his much touted 'Contract with America'....NOT one word about immigration. In fact only recently has Newt even talked about immigration enforcement. In the letter below, he joins other open border lobbyists proclaiming Bush's amnesty is the 'only way to go'.

The Wall Street Journal February 6, 2004 - Welcome to America

[snip]Fifteen authors offer this "Conservative Statement of Principles on Immigration"

Co-authored by Stuart Anderson, Jeff Bell, Linda Chavez, Larry Cirignano, Cesar V. Conda, Francis Fukuyama, Richard Gilder , Newt Gingrich, Ed Goeas, Tamar Jacoby, Jack Kemp, Steve Moore, Grover Norquist, Richard W. Rahn and Malcolm Wallop.

These are the people who would populate a 'Gingrich' administration!

Newt's voting record on immigration....pretty bad! Per Numbers USA and others: " Leans toward higher immigration, population growth, foreign labor. I can find nothing, in all the years that Gingrich was in office where he ever introduced or worked for legislation that would control our borders."

His close and long lasting association with Grover Norquist (open border White house policy maker), Jack Abramoff, Ralph Reed should cause concern.[snip]

Canter did say this week we need to give more work visas.

Leader Cantor: “The President is off talking about comprehensive reform, and we have been down that road before. I believe, in turn, we should do things that actually produce some progress and results, and reforming are H1-B visa program is an area we can start. We have heard from many employers that there are antiquated provisions in the visa laws that we should look to in terms of legal immigration through our H-1B program.â€

    Thanks AuntB

I guess I'm grasping at straws, just wanting a "good" candidate so badly. I had forgotten facts about Gingrich
