Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.

My personal expectations have been forced into a tailspin. Of course it all started with Trump's failure to end the DACA program.
It's not all of a sudden. These bills like Bridge Act, SAVE and ENLIST were all introduced before Trump was even inaugurated.

Well, President Trump is certainly energizing and encouraging them now!

Yes, ending DACA has most certainly "energized" the amnesty crowd. Did anyone not expect it to do just that? I'm surprised we haven't had wall to wall protests about it. I wonder why it is that we haven't had riots in the streets over the end of DACA? Could it be because of the way it was "managed"? Something to think about, in your spare time.

The DREAM ACT that was introduced July 26, 2017 that Nancy Pelosi is talking about is House Bill 3440, "DREAM ACT". It presently has 199 co-sponsors, 195 Democrats and 4 Republicans plus the Sponsor for 200.

There's a Senate DREAM ACT, Senate bill 1615 "DREAM ACT" introduced by Lindsey Graham that has 9 Co-Sponsors.

Of course the amnesty crowd is enuthused, encouraged, and optimistic. I guess that is to be expected when you have a Republican President supporting amnesty.

As soon as the President ended DACA, the amnesty crowd would be "energized" to pass the bill. But yes, I agree that his vague insinuations that he might support something for the DACA's short of his definition of amnesty/citizenship certainly encouraged them. I don't know why he made that overture, other than he was pissed at Paul Ryan for condemning his decision to end DACA and threw it back to him in the belly with the idea "okay big shot, you want it, then you try to pass it", but I definitely wish he hadn't done that. There was also some pressure from some of the evangelicals, maybe that had something to do with it, too. And it may be the real estate negotiations tactic where you cooperate, throw it back to the other side with an overwhelming suggestion or proposal, and while they dawdle trying to figure it out, you move on and let it die on the vine.
