Help us stop the Senate from destroying the nation!

    got this from Bay.....

Help us stop the Senate from destroying the nation!

    Dear Friend,

    We need ACTION RIGHT NOW!

    Here is the situation.

You and I are on the verge of the most critical week ever in our crusade
for immigration reform, border security and the integrity of our national
    culture.

Beginning next week--on April 24th, the U.S. Senate will resume debate on
the dreadful "compromise" immigration bill that was launched just before
    their Easter recess.

This bill...supported by the likes of Ted Kennedy, Arlen Specter, John
McCain, and George W. Bush..is a complete and total sell-out to the Open
Borders and Big Business lobbies. It is blanket amnesty, pure and
simple, an insult to law-abiding, hard-working Americans...and to
immigrants who came to this country the right way, the legal way!

The more we learn about the bill the more outraged I become. My friend,
the Senate was on the verge of passing a bill that would provide effective
amnesty to the 20 million people living here illegally..AND to the members
of their families not even in the country yet!

IN ADDITION, it would welcome another 450,000 foreign workers into the
country every year, AND their families! That's 990,000 visas a year for a
guest worker program....and everyone gets in-state tuition and a path to
    citizenship!

THEN there is the tidal wave of additional illegal immigrants from south
of the border. How do I know? The Senate stripped the bill of mandatory
employee verification (didn't want to burden their corporate masters) and
they have keep border security measures to a minimum. (Let's not forget,
the cheapest labor is the illegal labor-not guest workers.)

Thanks to your calls Republican Senators were unnerved and a few good
Senators, like Sen. Sessions of Alabama, were able to stop the bill from
passing before Easter. But the Senate is scheduled to take it up again on
April 24th! The Chamber is not taking no for an answer.

Our founding Chairman, Congressman Tom Tancredo, and the many opponents of
amnesty in the House of Representatives are ready to fight hard against
any amnesty bill the Senate votes out.

But a bad bill from the Senate...one that calls for amnesty and guest
workers ..puts Tom and our side in a tough negotiating position from the
    start.

That's why I want to urge you again to pick up the phone and call BOTH
your U.S. Senators. Even if one or both of your Senators are declared
friends or opponents of amnesty ....please, I beg you, call them both and
    register your views today!

The mainstream media, religious groups, corporate lobbyists, the White
House, and the Hispanic lobby are taking up the rally cry of the illegals
marching in our streets. They don't care that the crowd carries Mexican
    flags and speaks no English.

We must make our voice even louder! We simply can't lose this one!

So if you are able this week I urge you to go any town hall meetings or
public events of your Congressman or Senators. Track them down in church
if you have to. Also visit their offices, and keep calling them. Make
certain they know where you stand!

Meanwhile Team America is working to put an American face back onto this
issue. The media has really done an amazing job of making illegal
immigrants the story and we must not let them succeed!

So we are planning several press conferences next week and I could use
    your help.

We are looking for Hispanic Americans who are outraged over amnesty, and
American workers who have lost jobs or businesses because of illegals
workers. We want them to be part of our press conferences, which will be
in Washington next week. The more people we can bring together the
    stronger our message.

If you know of any Hispanic Americans who might like to join us, or any
Americans who have lost a job or a business because of illegal immigration
who might be willing to be part of this effort please have them contact
    me. (703-255-1399 or bay2@teamamericapac.org).

Thanks so much for all your help and support. And please, please, please
call your Senators and Congressman. We can not let them pass any amnesty!

Yours in the cause of a secure and law-abiding nation,

    Bay Buchanan
    Chairman

P.S. If you are in a position to help with a contribution I would be so
appreciative. I am hoping that Team America will be able to help those
coming to our press conference with travel expenses if they are in need.

Visited your website, even gave your office a call to discuss my views. What I don't understand, is why everyone right now seems to be running around forming splinter groups, rather than uniting behind ONE SINGLE AGENDA, one singular defining March.

From my perspective, we are being out flanked by the opposition at every turn, and basically playing catch up...playing catch up makes us have to react to a situation, run around putting fires out, instead of being pro-active and forcing the other side to have to react to OUR AGENDA.

Just my two cents worth on this.
