Still no immigration in the debates

If IMMIGRATION is so important that Hillary plans to address it in the first 100 days of office IF she's elected, WHY HAS IT STILL NOT BEEN BROUGHT UP IN THE DEBATES?

IT'S TRUMP'S "TRUMP" CARD AND WE HAVEN'T SEEN IT!! Why has he not interjected it into his answers? He goes off-topic enough anyway-- where is our immigration hammer?

Isn't immigration one of the foremost issues in our country? It would be like ignoring the economy! What is going on???? Wallace is our last hope on October 196h

He covers immigration and borders in all of his speeches and rallies, but he really should have interjected borders and immigration into the debates. The lines of questioning are all designed to destroy him and bolster Hillary. I knew the debates would be rigged and really thought he would have been better off spending the prep time, attendance and travel time on holding more Rallies instead of participating in the Debates. But he decided to follow-through, and that's okay, I just don't think the Debates help him given the bias in the whole process, so why do them?! It just helps Hillary get viewers she can't get any other way cuz no one really likes her.

For the most part you're correct. A lot of issues related to immigration and border security aren't getting much air time during the debates. Of course we know that is a topic the moderators don't want to touch because they know it's a losing issue for Hillary. However, I'm hopeful Trump already has the voters that consider those primary issues already solidly in his camp.

Judy, million of active voters will watch every single presidential debate but will never attend one of his rallies. The reasons many folks don't attend are various. For some it's work schedules, inconvenient location, childcare issues, etc. For some it's just the anxiety some experience from large packed gatherings of people. I'm not judging people who do or do not attend, just making the point that the debates are very important for those that do not, for whatever reason, attend.

MW, I understand that. But I don't think he picks up votes at the Debates, whereas he does pick up votes at the Rallies and from the replays of the videos of the Rallies. I post the views of some of this rallies just to see how many people look at them, and where he might have a crowd of over 20,000, in less than 18 hours, over 200,000 to 300,000 plus people have viewed that one Rally on YouTube. Then the message travels from there with no negative press, no gotchas and no spending your own time helping a loser like Hillary get viewers and listeners she wouldn't have otherwise had.

Campaigns really need to think about this when they have a candidate that the press hates. Because they're not getting a fair deck, they're working against a stacked rigged deck.

Just something to think about in future elections.

That's because it's kinda hard to cover up a massive illegal immigration problem with butterflies and roses.

I would disagree. I think a lot of undecided voters base their decision on the debates. On the other hand, it is my sense that a large majority of the rally attendees are already Trump voters. Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

He was damned if he did, damned if he didn't. If he opted out of the debates the left would've loved it-- citing lack of knowledge, lack of preparation, supposed fear of Shillary, etc. I so wish he spent less time repeating the same sentences and more time bringing up as many points as he could.

So much for that headline! ONE question, which was punted by Shillary and redirected to another topic. UNBELIEVABLY frustrating. I feel like his campaign was begun with immigration issues and that got most of his followers behind him. He spent more time on 2nd amendment material than immigration, despite polls showing it was much lower a concern overall.
