Historic Marxist Quotes of Past and Present – Lenin, Stalin, Obama and Clinton

The antithesis of America as envisioned by our founding fathers is the Marxist/Socialist model to which our present White House occupant and much of his fellow Democrats are dedicated.
The American Thinker recently published comparisons between the philosophies of four Socialist leaders of various persuasions over the last one hundred years. They are Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Comments or notable statements from each are offered as an insight into the relevance of what we are currently forced to deal with in a context of known history.
Vladimir Lenin assumed the reins of power in Russia in 1917, forming the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. His was a notoriously violent and oppressive communist system.
Infamous quotes from Lenin include:

  • “The way to crush the bourgeoisie is to grind them between the millstones of taxation and inflation.”
  • “One man with a gun can control 100 without one.”
  • “A lie told often enough becomes the truth.”
  • “Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.”
  • “The oppressed are allowed once every few years to decide which particular representatives of the oppressing class are to represent and repress them in parliament.”
  • “The best way to destroy the capitalist system is to debauch the currency.”
  • “The press should be not only a collective propagandist and a collective agitator, but also a collective organizer of the masses.”
  • “Our program necessarily includes the propaganda of atheism.”
  • “Give us the child for 8 years and it will be a Bolshevik forever.”
  • “There are no morals in politics; there is only expedience. A scoundrel may be of use to us just because he is a scoundrel.”
  • “Democracy is indispensable to socialism.”
  • “It is true that liberty is precious; so precious that it must be carefully rationed.”

The leadership of the Soviet Union passed to Joseph Stalin after Lenin’s death. Stalin was ruthless, recognized as killing seven million Ukrainians by starving them to death among his other murderous and cruel acts.
Evidence of his tyranny-based philosophy can be clearly seen in his quotations:

  • “It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.”
  • “The death of one man is a tragedy. The death of millions is a statistic.”
  • “We don’t let them have ideas. Why would we let them have guns?”
  • “Death solves all problems – no man, no problem.”
  • “Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed.”
  • “When we hang the capitalists they will sell us the rope we use.”
  • “If the opposition disarms, well and good. If it refuses to disarm, we shall disarm it ourselves.”
  • “The only real power comes out of a long rifle.”

The United States now has an individual holding seated as the leader of our nation who has a his core a belief in these same failed and brutal schemes. Frank Marshall Davis, the avowed communist was an early mentor of Obama, providing confirmation of the Lenin quote that having a child for eight years will make him a Bolshevik forever.
Obama demonstrates his affinity with his socialist predecessors in the following quotes:

  • “We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times.”
  • “Generally, the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties.”
  • “If you’ve got a business – you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”
  • “I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”
  • “Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”
  • “I happen to be a proponent of a single payer universal health care program.”
  • “I think the trick is figuring out how do we structure government systems that pool resources and hence facilitate some redistribution because I actually believe in redistribution…”
  • “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.”
  • “…We’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us.”

The heir apparent to the socialist mantle in the United States is the former New York Senator and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. She also has a Marxist background influenced by the radical organizer and author of “Rules for Radicals,” Saul Alinsky.
She fits right in with the other Marxists, with the following quotes attributed to her:

  • “We are going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.”
  • “It’s time for a new beginning, for an end to government of the few, by the few, for the few, and to replace it with shared responsibility for shared prosperity.”
  • “We can’t just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be taken away from some people.”
  • “We have to build a political consensus and that requires people to give up a little bit of their own turf in order to create this common ground.”
  • “I certainly think the free market has failed.”
  • “I think it’s time to send a clear message to what has become the most profitable sector in the entire economy, that they are being watched.”
  • “What I want to do is take those profits and apply them to alternative energy.”
  • “I really believe that it takes a village to raise a child.10″
  • “I also believe that every new handgun sale or transfer should be registered in a national registry…11″

It is glaring the similarities between the murderous socialist dictators of the past and those who intend to fundamentally transform America today.
This is even more evidence of the reasons why we must be serious in our defense of this nation and aggressively resist the challenge the progressives are mounting to our continued existence as a free nation.
