FBI-Wanted Al-Qaeda Terrorists Ally with Illegal Alien & ISIS-Supporter in U.S. Border State to Conduct Operations

Between 2010 and 2011, Judicial Watch reports, two al Qaeda operatives – Adnan Shukrijumah and Jaber A. Elbaneh – met with narco-traffickers Hector Huerta and Emad Karakrah “at a ‘mosque’ on Redd Road in El Paso, as well as two other ‘mosques’ in the city.”
Adnan Shukrijumah, born in Saudi Arabia but having spent time living in New York and South Florida, is an al Qaeda operative who has been wanted by the FBI for over ten years. CNN reported that Shukrijumah was linked to “the thwarted New York subway suicide mission last fall — the biggest post-9/11 terror investigation.”
The thirty-nine-year-old terrorist, who also goes by the name Ja’far al-Tayar or ‘Jafar the pilot’, rose up through the al Qaeda ranks from dishwasher to overseas operative running complex terror operations in the United States.
One of those operations, apparently, is coordinating a narco-terror ring in El Paso, New Mexico, with Hector Pedroza Huerta. Judicial Watch reports of Huerta:
He is a 44 year old, illegal alien currently residing in the El Paso County Jail Annex after his third arrest in August 2014 for “Driving While Intoxicated.” Huerta is reportedly now a “kitchen trustee” in the Jail Annex while awaiting court proceedings on federal immigration charges for “unlawful reentry of a removed alien.” His next federal court date is reportedly October 7, 2014.
Ironically, it appears that a former dishwasher hooked up with someone who is now a jail dishwasher to organize a narco-terror operation. Continued…
Though he is an illegal alien, Huerta has resided in the El Paso area for years. He has ties to a wealthy American in El Paso with business interests in the transportation industry. The wealthy owner of the transportation business is believed to protect Huerta and provide him with free legal counsel in exchange for Huerta’s continued silence concerning certain aspects of the transportation business.

Huerta is alleged to have smuggled explosives and weapons from the Fort Bliss range and exercise areas in concert with corrupt US Army soldiers and government contractors with gate passes at the El Paso base. In 2009 he partnered with Karakrah to plan a Chicago truck bombing that was thwarted. Between December 2010 and February 2011, Huerta and Karakrah also planned two additional bomb plots targeting oil refineries in Houston and the Fort Worth Stockyards, according to Judicial Watch sources.
Huerta is not the only known associate of the al Qaeda-affiliated Shukrijumah. There is also Emad Karakrah, a terrorist who was memorably apprehended late August in Chicago fleeing from police with an ISIS flag flying out of his car.
New York Daily News tells the backstory on this incident:
A Chicago man trailing an ISIS flag outside his car window is behind bars after leading cops on a chase and then telling officers the vehicle was rigged with explosives and would detonate if searched, police said.

Cops tried to pull over Emad Karakrah, 49, Wednesday morning after a caller noticed a suspicious vehicle around 9:15 a.m. on the city’s south side, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

Karakrah apparently was proudly waving the black and white flag favored by Islamic State of Iraq and Syria terrorists.
Judicial Watch describes Karakrah as a narco-terrorism logistics expert who has been apprehended and is awaiting hearing in mid-October:
Karakrah is a logistics and transportation operative for militant Islamists in the United States, according to sources close to the investigation. He moves people, weapons, explosives, drugs, money, and other materiel to terrorist cells operating in Chicago, Brooklyn, NY and Saddle Brook, NJ — among other locations across the United States. More than a decade ago Karakrah smuggled drugs and weapons for the Juarez drug cartel in Mexico. In July of this year, he was on a supply run to a militant Islamist cell operating out of a basement in Brooklyn, sources tell Judicial Watch.

Karakrah is, allegedly, also a former FBI confidential informant who has gone rogue, breaking contact with his bureau handlers. Sources tell Judicial Watch that legal proceedings against Karakrah in Chicago have now twice been delayed because of FBI “equities.” Karakrah’s next hearing is scheduled for October 15, 2014, and he remains in the Cook County Jail.
Earlier reports suggest that al Qaeda, and more recently, ISIS, may reach out to narco-trafficking gangs like MS-13 for logistics and support penetrating the United States Homeland.
Of course, none of this is anything to worry about, because the Obama administration assures Americans that “the border is secure.”
