EL PASO – If you think the kidnappings, killings and drug violence in Mexico sound like a horror movie, one Texas filmmaker will agree with you.

His movie has been labeled a modern day reality horror film. And it is something that could be used as an education tool more than an entertainment tool.

Filmmaker Rusty Fleming uses a graphic mix of real images and reenactment to take viewer inside the Mexican drug wars. The film was based on Nuevo Laredo, but it could easily apply to Juarez, which is the new battleground.

It only takes one trip across the bridge to see that the region is a narco-state. There is no governmental presence in control of Juarez, Mexico. Plus, there are other regions of the country that are in the same shape.

The film attracted a large crowd at a recent screening in El Paso, just across the border from Juarez.

Many have witnessed the violence first hand, but Fleming hopes the images will serve as a warning because the country is under attack and being terrorized. And that same terror is moving like a wave into the United States.

I watched this documentary 4 times, it is a must see for every American a real wake up call! Rusty also has a book out "Drug Wars, Narco Warfare in the 21st Century" that you can get through his web site at- www.drugwarsthemovie.com

Rusty spent 3 years investigating the Mexican Drug Cartels, be ready for a very graphic documentary. After I watched it the only conclusion I could come up with is, WE NEED OUR MILITARY ON THE SOUTHERN BORDER!
