    Take Action Utah Today

    Friends of ALIPAC,

We have a new strategy designed to defeat the Amnesty legislation which is likely to be signed into law soon in Utah. If Governor Herbert signs the guest worker Amnesty bill HB 116 into law, it will have a highly negative impact on our pro-enforcement advance in the states.

Please take immediate action to fully deploy our new strategy. We need thousands of calls made today and Friday.

Step 1: Please read our national press release and understand our strategy. Please send copies of this release to your favorite talk radio shows, and local and national media.

ALIPAC Asks Utah GOP To Retire Senator Hatch and Governor Herbert Over Amnesty
    http://www.alipac.us/ftopicp-1195977.html#1195977

Step 2: Call/Write Governor Herbert's office with our new message.

"I am calling/writing to inform Governor Herbert that 70% of Americans oppose Amnesty bills like Utah's HB 116 according to numerous scientific polls. If he does not veto HB 116 I plan to work to defeat Governor Herbert and Senator Orin Hatch in the 2012 elections. With 70% opposing HB 116, defeating Herbert and Hatch can be accomplished."

    Governor Gary R. Herbert
    801-538-1000 or 800-705-2464
350 North State Street, Suite 200
    PO Box 142220
    Salt Lake City, Utah 84114-2220
    Fax 801-538-1528

Step 3: Call/Write US Senator Orin Hatch's main Utah Office

"I'm calling/writing to let Senator Hatch know that I am aware he is behind this push in the Utah legislature to pass a form of Amnesty for illegal aliens, that he has been previously unable to pass in Washington. I am calling on Republicans in Utah to retire Senator Hatch as they did Senator Bennett! Hatch and Herbert are both going to be retired in the 2012 elections over this HB 116 guest worker Amnesty bill in Utah."

    Senator Orrin Hatch
    Washington DC Office
    104 Hart Office Building
    Washington, DC 20510
    Tel: (202) 224-5251
    Fax: (202) 224-6331

Step 4: Politely remind the LDS Church of their tax status

"I'm calling/writing the LDS Church to remind you that our government gives tax exempt status to churches for charitable work. We do not give you a tax break to pursue political activity as you have in the matter of HB 116 and the Utah Compact. The LDS Church's effort to influence Utah lawmakers to pass an Amnesty for illegal aliens is unacceptable. Around 70% of Americans oppose Utah's HB 116 and the efforts of the LDS church in this matter. I intend to work against the agenda of the LDS Church in Utah and across America as long as your church continues to try to aid and abet illegal aliens in violation of our existing federal laws."

    (ADD LDS CHURCH CONTACT INFO)

All calls and emails must be highly professional, civil, and respectful. You can be firm, but not over the top. Anyone who goes over the top will only help the cause of illegal aliens.

Please take 30 minutes today or Friday to make these calls followed up by a written version of your message.

Let's apply the proper pressure on Governor Herbert, Senator Hatch, and the LDS Church today to increase the chances of veto for Amnesty Bill HB 116.

Called Hatch's office (number I dialed was under the LDS church section?) anyway...they called me back and said Hatch is not involved in this...
