I just wanted to add that the Mexican truck deal has it's engines roaring and ready to roll if it isn't stopped, so this may be one of the top priorities. Also there's a bill pending to give LaRaza 10 mil a year that we're researching to see how far this bill has gone.

This would be great to organize the different parts of the problem in different topics as someone offered before and we can target them and collect all the info needed and the progress in the separate areas , for example : anchor babies , illegal crime , Mexican trucks , Border enforcement and maybe have a few people working on calling , faxing and keeping the Senators and general public updated about this specific problem . :?: :D
For now I will take this as the anchor baby thread and place a few posts here :D
Anchor baby
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Anchor baby is a pejorative term[1][2] used to refer to a child born in the United States to illegal aliens or other non-citizens. Such a child is legally a citizen of the United States. The term refers to a resident alien's child's role in facilitating "chain migration" under the provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Services Act of 1965. Immigration reductionists claim that the baby would become the "anchor" of a chain by which its family may receive benefits from social programs, and by which the parents may themselves eventually become lawful permanent residents or citizens of the United States.
A US-born child cannot in fact sponsor his/her parents for legal immigration to the United States until he/she becomes an adult, and illegal immigrant parents do not gain any additional legal rights based solely on the fact that they have had a child born in the US. However, illegal immigrant parents of US-born children often avoid deportation by immigration judges because they are the biological parents of minors, who have every right to be in the US as citizens.[citation needed] Deporting the illegal parents of US-born children causes the legal breakup of families, and judges are often unwilling to do this until the child is an adult, at which time the child can apply to sponsor their foreign-born parents for US citizenship.[citation needed]
The term "anchor babies" is also used to refer to children born to women who are legally in the US on temporary visas (for example a visitor’s visa) when the child's birth is specifically intended[citation needed] to obtain citizenship for the child under US law; however, this is more precisely described as birth tourism. Sometimes the term jackpot baby is used interchangeably with the term anchor baby. This use is also pejorative.

We can monitor the progress of this bill , support it and encourage the Senators to do it with us :D
The congress official site says 46 cosponsors and the library of Congress
http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z ... 01940:@@@P
[b]
already names 57 cosponsors . I noticed that Tom Tancredo joined too .
It looks like more Senators are approving this bill . Maybe we should monitor this progress closely and encourage others to participate in it .
The passage of this bill would be a life-saver for the country !!!

Hope, I think what they're going to do is create separate threads for each aspect of this entire illegal alien problem, and keep them at the top of the topic list so everyone can add to them as they find information, or at least that's what I understand.
Here's a tip for finding out where a piece of legislation stands. Go to the Thomas Library and punch in the bill number, then click on "status." If that fails to tell you, then go to the author's website and see if something is posted there.

300 000 anchor-babies are born every year , many of them are sick , but all of them will be used in " chain-migration " .

Sorry, I just saw your link on the status of the ancher baby law. It isn't moving very fast, is it? Well, we'll just have to give that bill a kick in butt and get it moving.
