HR 1940 - Stopping Anchor Baby Loophole
Paraphrased...
We could get this bill passed if the nation would rally behind it like they did against the latest attempt at shoving amnesty down our throats!
I heard that Rep Nathan Deal GA.,is sponsoring HR1940 to end birthright citizenship. Everyone should write their congressman and encourage to sign-up!
You can do something about anchor babies right now!
Call your elected representative and have him or her sign on as a cosponsor to the following bill immediately:

Can we DRIVE this one like we drove the anti illegal Amnesty bill effort?
How? Who?
Please suggest and lets get this moving!!! thanks

Yes, give us any information you can. If passed, this would remove another big reason for coming to America. Also, as we know, some woman feel entitled to stay once they've given birth.
Keep us informed. Does DC have a website that shows the progress of any particular bill? That is how I followed the proposed bill wanting to give driving certificates to illegal aliens in Illinois. We also called and emailed to get that shelved as well.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Letter sent to Congressmen Patrick McHenry, North Carolina 10th District
Dear Congressmen McHenry:
I request that you sign on as a co-sponsor in support of H.R.1940 :
Title: To amend section 301 of the Immigration and Nationality Act to clarify those classes of individuals born in the United States who are nationals and citizens of the United States at birth. Sponsor: Rep Deal, Nathan [GA-9] (introduced 4/19/2007).
I do not believe the intent of the 14th amendment to our Constitution was to sanctify birthright U.S. citizenship to foreign nationals illegally in this country. The allowance for anchor babies has been a huge magnet that facilitates more and more illegal alien influx into America. It also contributes to abuse of our hospital and medical care system, educational systems and is unfair to the U.S. taxpayer. To defeat illegal immigration, a series of steps must be taken to reduce magnets that attract illegals here whose intent is to utilize loopholes in our laws to their advantage. I see the anchor baby issue as a major loophole that must be closed. Please support passage of H.R. 1940.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

The anchor baby bill is the only new bill we need at this point . With the rest of the illegal issues we can simply follow and enforce the existing laws .
But this is a very good thing to organize and to check the work of the Senate and what they are trying to sneak in behind our backs .
For example in the place where I work hardly one person knew what this bill what about because the media were talking only about Paris Hilton and not about the immigration bill ." Do not compromise yourself . You are all you've got ." -Janice Joplin .

There's no question this birthright law has to be changed, and we are all going to have to do everything we can to make our views clear on it. However, I would like to say something.
For two years before I joined ALIPAC, I fought this illegal alien problem all alone, emailing and calling Congress constantly. At times I got discouraged and wanted to give up because I was only one voice and didn't even know if I was being heard. But now I am part of a team of many voices and I have found out from our recent victories that voices in great numbers is the answer to fixing problems in this country. Having said that, I'd like to make a suggestion.
As there are many aspects of this problem that need to be fixed, we need to work on them one at a time, using all our voices at the same time to be heard. I'm not saying don't email and call on the birthright law, but to reserve some energy for when we all tackle it together. Don't wear yourselves out unnecessarily because we have alot of work to do and as we are spending the week-end researching, and making suggestions, we are finding out the most pressing parts of this problem, so that we will all be ready to hit them together right after the holiday.
Just a suggestion.RIP TinybobIdaho -- May God smile upon you in his domain forevermore.
