Thread: I Talked To Lou Dobbs Again

I just talked to Lou Dobbs on his radio show. I told him I couldn't understand why both candidates are still talking about amnesty for the illegals as it would costs us trillions, especially when we are in this financial crunch at the moment.

I have believed for years now, that this country and it's people are last in any politician's mind.

The object is to bring this country down any way possible, and illegal immigration is just one of the tools that is being used.

People, we are in some trouble in this country and it should be pretty apparent that we cannot depend on any party to do anything but try to hurt us. Perhaps individual congresspeople can/will help us. We need to get behind them.

We also need to get together and come up with some other plans - we are sinking fast.

We love Lou Dobbs.

I know.......all I'm hearing is survival skills coz things are going to get bad.

Yes we do, but in the many examples set by the Bush administration, the actions of Congress and its legislation is just one of those thorns that are nothing but an irritation. A recent example is the DOT just ignoring the demand to stop the pilot project for Mexican trucks given the right to drive anywhere they want.

How exciting getting on his show! I assume he agreed with what you said?

This was the second time I got to talk to him on his show. It was great. I said to him, "They keep telling us this bailout will fix everything. You know, kind of like the 1986 amnesty bill that was supposed to fix everything." He got a chuckle out of that. Then I told him that I couldn't understand why both candidates keep talking about giving amnesty to the illegal aliens in this country when we are in a financial crunch at the moment. He said that both candidates are lying to the Hispanic people.

I wonder what he meant by that - lying to hispanic people? Do you think he is suggesting they are lying by promising amnesty/immigration reform?

I would love to hear his show. He is not on in my area, at least not that I know of.

He said they are lying in their ads. Tomorrow there will be a podcast of my comments, and Lou's, and I'll post the link when I get it.
