Marc Lauritsen of the United Food and Commerical Workers really stuck his foot in his mouth when he said, "these are American workers". UNBEFRIGGINGLIEVABLE!!!

I just witnessed your spokesman, Marc Lauritsen, on Lou Dobbs tonight and what he said ABSOLUTELY SICKENED ME. I am sorry, but those ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS arrested by ICE this week ARE NOT AMERICAN CITIZENS, as stated by Mr. Lauritsen. If I were A PAYING MEMBER of your group, believe me, I would be DEMANDING answers to the questions Mr. Dobbs raised this evening. Why haven't you been protecting the wages of LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZENS represented by you instead of pandering to Mexico, corporate Amerika and this CORRUPT government. You are just another PRIME EXAMPLE of a sold out, globalist entity. I hope you get your comeupance...AND SOON!

As a teamster union member here in Texas, i find it flat out disgusting that any AMERICAN union would be supporting anyone in the country ILLEGALLY while we watch wages drop because of these same ILLEGALS. The Fact of this being an immigration raid or an identity theft raid makes no difference to me because its OBVIOUS to me that these people broke the laws of the US and got what they deserved. As an American citizen, if i find out that my personal drivers license and social security numbers were used at SWIFT, i will be seeing you in court and charging your union with aiding and abetting in the employment of illegals and identity theft since you apparently have no problem with these kinds of people working at swift and also representing them.

My husband is chief union steward at our plant for the United Food and Commerical Workers here in PA. When this a$$hole was taking I was screaming at the TV and my hubby seen who I was yelling at. This is the same person whom my hb jad meeting in October who called Hazelton mayor names and said this whole immigration thing is racial. My husband said he just kept shaking his head. The meeting was suppose to be about OSHA, turned out to be a democrate election rally. Damn good I wasn't there cause I would have yell something.

Anyways I am going to copy the transcript from Lou Dobbs and put them all over the plant. I am not against unions; they are good for helping companies staying in line as far as the employees are concerned. I am also going to send an email to this idoit.

The email I sent them :

Subject- CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALLIENS X AMERICAN CITIZENS

Shame on you, if you don't care for your fellows citizens, you suppose to represent American Citizens not these criminals, thieves, I didn't know now UFCW is the representative of illegal aliens, this of course states that your organization DO NOT DEFEND THE INTERESS of American workers but you defend only the interess of those big corporations, you are one of the causes of these American workers beeing depraved of their jobs. this crime beeing commited against the working people who have to provide care and safe for real American babies not those false "for proffit babies" Born in USA just to reveive our tax money through hospitals, helthcare, schools, medicaid etc..., again I repeat SHAME ON YOU, your ancestors, the ones who hardly found your organiztion must be turning in their graves to realize how their Patriotic Movement was hijacked by a bunch of profiters who cares only about money and the country doesn't represent anything to them.

Whoa, i never expected someone whos a member of that union to be saying something negative about someone who is their union official. but good for you and make sure everyone knows, union or non union.

Tell me, has the salary gone up as he claims in recent years or have things just been status quo. he says they have gone up, Lou said they have gone down from 19 to 9 an hour

As a former member of a union that stood up for American jobs and American workers,I e-mailed my opinion of a union that stands up for foreign,illegal workers before Americans.

i forgot to mention that i was also union secretary at my work.

I saw the guy on tv and I was just sick. These guys are creating an underclass of workers that really could care less about america or its values.

This is a union that wins its' contracts on the picket lines with the support of the public. They face mind numbing competion from Target, Kmart, and Walmart super stores (That pay there employees crap). people go for the low prices while the clerks are screwed.

Now Food and Commercial are going to alinate the public with their pro illegal stand. They should be working to shut down Swift not bring back illegals.

Let wages rise in Greely. Man they could use the revenue. It is a beautiful town going broke. The union needs to help bring american labor from high unemployment communities nation wide.

The ufcw better settle next contract in colorado or they will be history.

I have never crossed a picket line and have served as a union president, but i will cross theres if they dont put ameican workers first.

I am a former union coal miner and was shocked to see your representative stand before t.v. cameras and support illegal lawbreakers as they were being apprehended by I.C.E. officials.
The union that I was a member of would never have represented a foreign,illegal workforce that has taken legal American citizens jobs and in some cases have stolen their i.d's. My union wanted to protect the AMERICAN worker and their wages as they were elected to do.
It was pathetic to see your rep.blabbering and blubbering as he made an unbelivable attempt to portray I.C.E. as the bad guys and the illegals as law-abiding citizens just doing their jobs.At one point these illegals were even referred to as AMERICAN workers.A slip of the tongue perhaps?

Corporations everywhere use this illegal, unlimited,foreign workforce to HOLD DOWN your wages and will continue to do so until the government begins to enforce our laws.
These raids were a start and the wish and hope of American citizens is that they will continue and increase their enforcement measures.Every company and organization that enables and encourages this illegal activity should be heavily penalized and pay large fines for their financial gains at the expense of legal American citizens.
