Would McCain get your vote if ...
If McCain stood up and held a press conference avowing to free Heroes Ramos and Compean in his first week in office, would he get your vote?
PS Are there any updates on these guys? I used 'the google' and only found older articles from '07.The flag flies at half-mast out of grief for the death of my beautiful, formerly-free America. May God have mercy on your souls.

No. I really would like their release, but that is not enough. He can't get a deal like that just like he can't get a "secure the borders first" deal. Doesn't matter anyway. He will not release Ramos and Compean.
Serve Bush with his letter of resignation.
See you at the signing!!

Same here. I don't think there is any one thing he can say that will gain my vote. Only actions count and they would have to be 100% enforcement oriented. I won't believe it, until I see it.

Oh, he gets it now? American wants the border secured first? He won't do that first, and if he does, he will do very little and then get those who he wants, not who we want, to certify that the borders are sealed. MEANWHILE, the new Congress will be inacting new legislation to grant amnesty. John McCain hasn't learned anything from the failed shamnesty bill of June '07. If he did, he wouldn't have visited Mexico. HE wouldn't have made a speech at La Racist's convention. He wouldn't have promised comprehensive immigration reform within his first 100 days to them. He hasn't learned anything and if anything, he is still holding a grudge for having lost that bid in June '07 and is hell bent on seeing it through when he beomces POTUS. JM is not to be trusted because he's one of the globalists' good ol boys. A yes man through and through. This old fart isn't about to give up on supplying employers with the cheap labor and in abundant supply.

No. Too little, too late. I wouldn't believe the man if he told me today was Saturday.

If McCain does NOT actualize securing the border FIRST, Ramos and Compean will be JOINED by yet MORE Border Patrol agents and other American lawmen UNJUSTLY CANNED for DOING their job!

I didn't think so, but thanks for the replies. He wouldn't get my vote for offering an empty promise either. But when Ramos and Compean do finally get released (be it by pardon or serving their sentences fully) there is going to be one hell of a party for them!
I will fly to Texas or wherever the party is going to be, and I don't fly EVER, but this would be well worth it.The flag flies at half-mast out of grief for the death of my beautiful, formerly-free America. May God have mercy on your souls.

Chuck Baldwin is the only candidate I have heard outright PROMISE to free Ramos and Compean.
[quote]In May 2008, Chuck Baldwin, the Constitution Party Candidate of President said "And I guarantee you this; the day before my inauguration as President will be the last day that Mr. Ramos and Compean will have to spend in prison. They will be released from prison on the first day that I am President.â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
