We MUST Stop The Dream Act!

WE MUST STOP THE DREAM ACT!

I realize we have several key bills to tackle. However, we must not lose sight of the Dream Act. The proponents of this bill are well organized and extremely determined to receive yet another tax-funded benefit for the illegals.

They have garnered support from many in Congress, and if we don't take action, this bill, which is incorporated into the Defense bill, WILL pass.

Members of the Dream Act Portal Forum are now sending sob story letters to Oprah Winfrey in hopes of gaining sympathy and national support. We are all aware of Oprah's clout.

Their poster child, Juan Gomez, has met with members of Congress and has had his and his family's deportation orders extended. He has also requested to be featured on Oprah, and is now awaiting response from the show.

I don't know Oprah's stance on illegal immigration, but I do know she tends to be compassionate, and may be swayed by the sob stories. Some are even hoping for scholarships or other forms of contributions personally from Oprah.

We cannot afford to ignore this crucial bill.

    PLEASE STOP THE DREAM ACT!!!

I'll call on this too. Please keep us posted on status of this amnesty bill if you hear or read about any developments. I know the OBL has been peddling this scheme for years.

    Dear Senator,

The DREAM Act is perilous legislation

Whether it continues to be a stand alone bill or if it gets speciously attached to other unrelated legislation, it should be opposed by any politician that truly cares about the American citizenry.

The DREAM Act is nothing more than a “back doorâ€

We Must Stop the Dream Act

Thank you for the Alert! To allow anything as major as the Dream Act to go through would be to seriously reverse the strong momentum gained from the defeat of the Senate Amnesty legislation. I'm calling!

Thanks, Alipacers! We WILL defeat this!!

One of the most appalling aspects of this is the callous attitude so many of these "Dreamers" have toward the war in Iraq and our brave troops who are dying on a daily basis. They know this has been included in the Defense Bill and are praying for the continuation of the war, notwithstanding casualties, to increase their chances of having this bill passed.

They are ingrate brats, and their entitlement mentality is absolutely nauseating.

One poster commented that Alipac will have no effect on the outcome of this bill. They have been trolling our site, and think we are not concerned. Let's prove them wrong!

Unfortunately my Senator is one who sponsors this act or started it. Feinstein is not for the American Citizen.

When is being put on the floor? Does anyone know?
