Thread: Illegal immigrant driver license bills on the move in Virginia

from my email. Thank you to the VA activist who sent this in!

Dear Virginia activist: Without notice, committees of the Virginia state legislature held hearings over the last two days on legislation (HB 1211 and SB 643) that would allow illegal aliens to get a driver's license. We expect votes to follow soon so please contact your state delegate and senator in opposition to the bills. Instructions are included below.

"I am a voter in your district who wants you to vote NO on HB 1211, which would allow illegal aliens to obtain a Virginia driver's license. Adding new illegal-alien drivers to the roads - many without experience - will not improve safety. Nor will it guarantee that they retain insurance after applying for a license. An insurance institute study of New Mexico, which has long given licenses to illegal aliens, found that licensure did not lead to increased auto insurance retention.
The legislation will make Virginia a magnet for illegal aliens across the nation who want licenses. And others will commit fraud to obtain one. New Mexico discovered that thousands of illegal aliens committed fraud to obtain a license in that state.
If you really want to increase highway safety in Virginia, you need to find a way to stop illegal aliens from driving at all. Please oppose HB 1211 and instead study ways to increase penalties for driving without a license.

OPPOSE DRIVER'S LICENSES FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS

THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN OUR COUNTRY OR DRIVING ON OUR ROADS!!!

I hope in the upcoming Trump 2.0 Administration the DOJ cracks down on these rogue state governments. We need to ensure that foreign drivers----who for all we know may have a string of intoxicated driving charges, reckless behavior, unlicensed vehicle, or any of a number of vehicle violations that resulted in suspension of privileges in their home country---are not allowed to drive on US roads. This is the purpose of international protocol in regulating how foreign drivers use our roads. We want only good drivers from other countries operating on our roads. It is a safety issue that affects US citizens.

This is part of the problem with non lawfully admitted foreign citizens. We have no idea of what kinds of trouble they may have been in or have caused in their own country, or what they may do here after clandestinely infiltrating our country.

If I drive in Mexico I use MY American driver's license.


I do not apply for a Mexican Drivers License!!! And I buy the Mexican Insurance coverage at the border.
