It's just outrageous.
Republicans have done this to ourselves and our nation.
But lets take charge; do what has to be done; and fix the problem ... by defeating the Bush Dem Shamnesty and using local ordinances, laws and police to secure our borders and enforce US Immigration Law so this NEVER happens to any canyon, national park, city street, work place or neighborhood anywhere in America .. EVER AGAIN.
WE CAN DO THIS!

What really makes me sick about this whole thing is the fact that when Americans choose to live like that, it is wrong. I went with the Miami-Dade County bylaw officer to several places where county standards weren't being met. Many times officers go with the bylaw officers as some of these people get violent and at times shoot at them. There was one strange American man who lived like the people in that camp on his own property. He allowed dumping on his property and got money for it. The man inherited the property which consisted of several acres and was offered millions for it but refused to sell it.

I want to know where is the sierra club and other environmentalists on this?
If anyone has been to mexico outside the main tourist areas, this is what the country looks like. There is litter and trash scattered as far as the eye can see. If this isn't stopped, this is what ALL our national and state parks will look like."Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting the same results is the definition of insanity. Sippy is right. I was in Mexico once and was bused to the airport from Acupulco to Mexico City. On that trip once it got light outside you could see how they live. It wasn't much diferent from the pictures. Their homes were thrown together with whatever material they could find and they had trash piles a short distance away from the home. They bathed and did laundry in the river.

LOOKED QUIET TODAY
I was just there at McGonigle Canyon about an hour ago. No people were at the top of the hill and I did not want to hike down alone. I was surprised at how different it looked from the ground instead of from Google Earth.
I saw wanted posters for illegal Alien criminals and posters for last weekend’s camp out still posted on mail boxes at the end of cull de sacs.
It was a surprise to find that this canyon was only about ten minutes from the 15 and I drive by there every day.
All in all it was a nice area and a very nice day. I am really surprised that the people who live in that neighborhood have put up with this for so long.
One other reason why these people lived here in the canyon is because the agricultural fields are so close and I did see about 60 or so workers in he fields.
