    Illegal prison population

I work in a state prison in Illinois. We have a lot of Illegal aliens. We also have three Spanish TV cable stations. They are able to get a G.E.D and or learn trades like cosmotology, barbering, culinary arts, horticulture, sanitation specialist, hospice, etc. They can even go to collage if they get a G.E.D but most never even make it through the required basic education that is manditory for all inmates. The real dirty secret is that these illegals are not always deported when their time is up. The DHS will let them stay if they have family here. Iv'e seen murderers and rapists get out of prison and not get deported because they have kids that are in the U.S.A. ... I am to the point were I feel that there is no hope for this country. What can I say that hasn't been said before?

An idea may be to quietly get an accounting of how many and who are there at your prison. We may be able to bring media attention to it. And call ICE at a time when they are trying so hard to impress us.

However for the sake of your job I would keep it very quiet and to yourself while you gather the info.

This is beyond sad. We feed, clothe and educate them (tax payers)
and they are let out into general population. These illegals are often
    treated BETTER than American citizens.

In prison they are living better than many poor and elderly american citizens, free food, cable TV, education, healthcare, etc. I am not for putting them in jail, I am for deporting them and not waste the money on incarcerating them, ship them back and let their own country deal with what it is breeding.

Going to prison isnt the same as it used to be a long time ago. I think they should be punished by doing hard labor. I want them to wear a ball & chain, and I want them out in the hot sun hitting rocks all day long until the rocks turn into sand. No more cable tv, free food, health care, movies, music, access to computers and games, NOTHING PLEASURABLE.
I want them to have such a horrible memory of going to our prisons, so that they will NEVER ENTER OUR COUNTRY AGAIN!

I agree that should be the point of going to prison, no enjoyment of any freedoms and no free services.

You already let me in on something I didn't know before, MaxwellMason. I had no idea that illegal inmates weren't deported upon release from prison. So, in other words, they aren't coming back-- they just aren't going out of the country.

If someone doesn't do something pretty soon, I won't have any hope for this country, either. It's in short supply these days as it it.

Michael Savage has been trumpeting the statistic on his radio show that illegal immigrants make up 29% of our federal prison population. Its almost beyond belief, but I don't doubt it.

Californians have to pay $750 million (!!!!) every year just to house the illegals in California prisons. We have got to get these people out of our country before to they do to this great country what they've already done to the miserable countries they are fleeing from.

I just had this discussion with a major newspaper in town. I was complaining about how the media refuses to cover it. Low and behold the person lives in the same part of town as I do and was totally in agreement.

It seems like every imagineable force is trying to go against the the majority of the people.

Some Illegals are deported upon serving their time but it's the ones from far flung countries that are enforced to the teeth. Mexicans for the most part can get out of being deported if they have family here. If they have no family then they get deported but thats rare. Iv'e seen guys who have been locked up 20 years with tattoos on their face not get deported because they have kids here in the states that they never raised. Sometimes these guys just get a packet that tells them to report to the federal building in Chicago. In the meantime they are on parol. Parol of illegals is a whole new can of worms. The state has been hiring parol officers who speak spanish and english and the guys who have been waiting 10 years to move up to the higher paying parol job are passed up for a guy with only a few years because the new guy speaks spanish. It goes to show just how many ways this illegal immigration spiderwebs out into so many peoples lives. Why would the state need Spanish speaking parol officers?, It's because we are not deporting them.
