CONSERVATIVES INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE HOUSE CAUSED JOHN BOEHNER’S DOWNFALL

Outgoing Speaker of the House Rep. John Boehner (R-OH)
says he’s not being pushed out of the job he’s held for five years.

John Boehner acknowledges, however, that he wants to avoid the continuation of the “churning” that’s taken place within the Republican House caucus. Over the past several months, conservative members—who have become increasingly unhappy with his inability to provide meaningful opposition to President Obama’s far-left agenda—have mounted a steady rebellion.

    Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC)
has been the most visible member of that opposition, but unrest has spread to other members of the Republican House caucus whose support, until recently, Boehner has been able to count on.Opposition to John Boehner has come from both inside the Republican caucus and outside the House. And 2016 presidential primary politics are playing a big role in why outside pressure has had an increasingly significant influence on the behavior of members of Congress.

Leading the conservative grassroots opposition from outside the House have been several groups, including an informal coalition known as Groundswell, which has met regularly on Capitol Hill once a month for the past five years. The goal is to chart a limited government path of activism to counteract the unholy alliance between the far-left and the Republican establishment that has had a death grip on Washington since the beginning of the Obama administration.

“Boehner’s fall is connected to why Cruz and Trump and Carson and Carly are rising because if you hear the frustration [of the conservative grassroots], you know citizens want the Congress to stop Obama’s [fundamental] transformation [of the country],” Ginni Thomas of Liberty Consulting, an activist and Groundswell member tells Breitbart News.

“This is not personal about John Boehner,” Thomas is quick to add. “It’s really about principle and failed leadership.”
“It was an inside-outside effort,” Thomas, tells Breitbart News. “It will continue to be. Inside the House, outside in the grassroots and the conservative groups who get the grassroots,” Thomas, who was also a former leadership staff member for one-time Majority Leader Dick Armey (R-TX), says.

Other participants in the Groundswell group and conservative activists in general agree.

Kenneth T. Cuccinelli, former Virginia attorney general and current president of the Senate Conservatives Fund, told the Washington Times, shortly after Boehner’s resignation was announced on Friday, the news “is welcomed by conservatives across the country.”

“As Speaker of the House, John Boehner was hostile towards conservatives and our principles… Rather than fighting President Obama and his liberal policies, Speaker Boehner embraced them and betrayed his party’s own voters.” Cuccinelli added.

“The next Speaker of the House must be willing to defend the Constitution and stand up for the principles of freedom that make our nation great,” he concluded.

Cuccinelli was defeated by Democrat Terry McAuliffe in the 2013 race for governor of Virginia.

Conservative icon Richard Viguerie, Chairman of ConservativeHQ.com, said, “the resignation of John Boehner is a great victory for the grassroots whose demand for Republican leaders who will fight to govern America according to conservative principles finally drove Boehner out.”

“Conservatives are not a wing of the GOP or an interest group—we ARE the Republican Party. Boehner’s resignation shows that there is a time limit on how long a small minority can run roughshod over the rights and interests of America’s conservative majority,” Viguerie added.

Viguerie called on conservatives to put the pressure on Majority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA)

.“As Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy now owns whatever happens in Congress and conservatives must hold him accountable for what happens on defunding Planned Parenthood, stopping Obama’s illegal immigration and amnesty schemes and other assaults on constitutional government,” Viguerie said.

Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, was unsparing in his criticism of John Boehner’s tenure as Speaker of the House, and said his stepping down was a “forced resignation.”

“John Boehner’s willingness to fund rather than oppose Barack Obama’s lawlessness is a chief reason for his forced resignation from his position as speaker of the House,” Fitton said in a statement.

Fitton hit Boehner hard on his failure to provide any effective Congressional oversight to the excesses of the Obama administration.

“It is no small issue that, during Boehner’s tenure, Judicial Watch is widely acknowledged to have been performing the oversight that is the job of Congress. We’ve heard from many members of the House who are embarrassed that its committees and oversight have become a joke under Speaker Boehner. Judicial Watch has had more success investigating the IRS, Benghazi, and [Hillary] Clinton email scandals than any House committee under Boehner’s direction,” Fitton said.

Groundswell member Thomas also emphasized John Boehner’s oversight failures.

“Whoever the next Speaker is—they need to learn the lessons of Boehner’s final surrender. The lesson is failed-effective-messaging by all Republicans (led by their leader) and failed Republican Congressional oversight that is effective.”
    Judicial Watch’s Fitton kept punching.

“And the House simply could not stand for John Boehner to allow the funding of the very things he told the American people that House leadership opposed,” he said.

“Corruption in government grew under Speaker Boehner’s watch,” Fitton added.

When it comes to selecting new leadership for the House, Fitton did not pull his punches:

The House, Republicans and Democrats alike, should take the pending leadership change as an opportunity to restore the House of Representatives to its preeminent role as defined under the U.S. Constitution. A reform and restoration agenda for the House should be the priority of any new speaker and leadership team. It is time to commit to combatting government corruption; time to focus on effective and serious oversight and accountability of an out-of-control federal government; time to end the DC transparency crisis; and time to restore constitutional governance and the rule of law. The elected despotism that the Founding Fathers warned about must end.

Citizen’s United President David Bossie called John Boehner’s departure “a victory for grassroots conservatives.”
“Speaker Boehner’s retirement announcement is a victory for grassroots conservatives,” Bossie said in a statement.
“Under Boehner’s leadership, Congress has failed to advance meaningful reforms, much less the bold conservative reforms our country needs. The writing has been on the wall for quite some time now, and as a conservative, I’m excited at the prospect of electing new conservative leadership in the House of Representatives.” Bossie added.

David Bozell, ForAmerica president, had some advice for members of the House of Representatives on next steps.
“Members must ask themselves if there is anyone among them who wants to put the House of Representatives back on offense and reclaim the body’s constitutionally mandated authority over the rules, regulation making, and spending processes,” Bozell said in a statement.

    FreedomWorks CEO Adam Brandon agreed.

“It’s time for new leadership in Congress,” Brandon said in a statement.

“Last year, the grassroots toppled Majority Leader Eric Cantor and now they’ve forced out Speaker Boehner. The tide is changing in Washington. FreedomWorks will be supporting the House Freedom Caucus to make sure that the incoming leadership adhere to conservative principles, not special interests,” Brandon concluded.

“Americans deserve a Congress that fights for opportunity for all and favoritism to none. Too often, Speaker Boehner has stood in the way,” said Heritage Action’s CEO, Mike Needham.

“Today’s announcement is a sign that the voice of the American people is breaking through in Washington. Now is the time for a principled, conservative leader to emerge. Heritage Action will continue fighting for conservative policy solutions and we look forward to working with the new leadership team.”

“The next Republican Speaker of the House must be willing to fight for the principles of America; not simply be a caretaker for the establishment Republicans. Tryouts for the job begin today,” long time conservative leader and Founder of Eagle Forum, Phyllis Schlafly said on Friday.

When it comes to putting the outside forces together with the inside forces to pressure John Boehner’s resignation, Thomas says it was a team effort.

“Groundswell is one of the many forces that were frustrated with failed Republican congressional leadership,” she tells Breitbart News.

“Groundswell cannot take credit for the part of many people trying to stop excessive accommodation to Obama’s fundamental transformation of the nation. Congressional leaders, to our surprise, never built a fighting force for founding principles,”
“We were privy to the pot boiling of frustration,” Thomas said, “because we hear and listen to people anxious about where the nation is headed.”

Under John Boehner’s leadership, Republicans “failed to contrast our principles with Obama’s fundamental transformation of the country,” Thomas says.

“People want a contrast to Obama’s fundamental transformation of the country, they don’t want accommodation.”
As for the future, the next few days are critical for conservative activists, as the media and the left begin to sort out how they will respond, Thomas says.

“We’re going to see a narrative battle over the next 72 hours about the meaning of Boehner’s resignation,” Thomas predicts.

“Liberals and the establishment have their spin. We hope Americans can hear the truth,” she adds.

“Liberals have already put out their false narrative that Boehner’s resignation is a sign of the meanness of Republicans. They say ‘conservative policies are hurting immigrants, women and the poor,’ when the opposite is true,” Thomas concludes.

Well, that all sounds well and good to an extent. But Republicans are making a huge mistake interweaving defunding of Planned Parenthood with stopping illegal immigration. Mixing stomping on the personal, individual rights of girls and women to terminate an unwanted pregnancy with stopping a hideous bankrupting invasion of millions and millions of illegal aliens is just very wrong, totally misguided and will end up costing us the White House.

Most people think Romney lost because he lost the "Latino" vote. No, Romney lost because he lost the women vote.

Sorry Judy, but abortion is not the very thing in politics. The working class blue collar Reagan Democrats are the determining factor in winning elections. These people, who nobody wants to acknowledge as existing, are the ones who could have won the election for Romney had he reached out to them. Obama won re-election with FEWER VOTES than his first election. It was conservatives, many who are pro life, who stayed home because Romney was a RINO who did not inspire them to vote. And they did not stay home because he was pro life.

Well, I'm a life-time Republican from a family of Republicans who have been Republicans since there were Republicans, before the Civil War. And we're Republicans because our family has been in this country since before the American Revolution and the men in our family fought in both wars, the American Revolution and the Civil War for the Union. So there is probably no more dyed-in-the-wool Republicans, than me and my family. And we're all Pro-Choice.

So, in 2012, poor Mitt didn't get any of the women or male votes, because the males in our family support women's rights. Not one for Mitt. We didn't vote for Obama either, we voted for someone else.

So, be careful who you think is just staying home, and who is actually saying "enough of this crap, already" and voting third party. You might be real surprised at the number of Real Republicans who still put civil rights, equal rights and women's rights, the reason we have a Republican Party to begin with, above winning the White House. When the candidate isn't going to fix immigration, end free trade treason, pass the FairTax, end the war on drugs, but is going to make it hard or harder if not impossible for girls and women to control their own reproduction, then it doesn't matter what party ballot he runs on, he/she isn't doing anything to earn the spot to get the vote. There is an organization called Republican Majority for Choice to protect women's rights, it works the same tireless way that ALIPAC works to stop illegal immigration, with small budget and lots of volunteer efforts. I'm involved with 4 activism groups, Republican Majority for Choice, ALIPAC, NumbersUSA and American for Fair Taxation (FairTax). And you'd be surprised at the number of Republicans involved in these other organizations. And we're radical, because most of us come from that Radical Republican blood-line, and we would rather throw the election than let a monster who wants to force girls and women into childbirth against their will into the White House. So just keep that all in mind when you predict how people are voting.

The candidate we voted for was Pro-Choice and supported the FairTax, better 2 issues than 0.

Judy I was for Planned Parenthood because I remember when abortion was illegal and girls went to hacks and ended up dying. I always figured that if a woman chose abortion it was between her and God and it was not my place to judge. We also believed that it was only legal in the first trimester. Now a lot of woman are having their eyes opened to the fact that that our tax money is going to pay for it and that it has progressed to late term abortion. In other words it is no longer just between the woman and God, it has become an issue between us and our God. You just might be surprised that the silent majority of woman that looked the other way are now outraged and are starting to rethink their prior position.

MontereySherry, Planned Parenthood facilities do not accommodate abortions beyond 24 weeks, and 88% of all abortions in the US are performed by the 12th week. Nationwide, whether Planned Parenthood or other providers, perform very few late term abortions because these can't be done in most clinics and involve different procedures.

Carly Fiorina lied during the debate about a number of things, including the Planned Parenthood video as have the makers of the video. That's all been debunked over and over again. They took some stock footage from somewhere else and inserted it into their video of Planned Parenthood, and even then that footage doesn't show what Carly says she saw. It was just all dishonest drama to rile people up, with no regard for the girls or women involved, no concern or care at all for their rights, wishes, needs, health or life.

This Pro-Life business is big money. Birthing departments of hospitals are big revenue generators for hospitals and doctors, many hospitals are religious charity hospitals. And organizations involved in adoptions and the lawyers that handle the transactions make big money from unwanted babies through adoptions and the services and legal fees involved.

No one pushing this cares about the "life", because if they did they would care first about the life of the pregnant girl or woman who doesn't want to go through childbirth against her will. The whole conversation about this issue never even discusses the girl or woman involved. It's as they are just mindless useless vessels to produce a "baby" that enriches hospitals, doctors, lawyers, Gerbers and Pampers, car seat companies, formula companies, baby clothes and stroller companies, day care companies, and on and on and on. It's all about the baby money, not about "life". Because if they cared about life, they would care first for the pregnant girls and women dealing with an unwanted pregnancy they want to terminate so they can move on with their own life.

This whole Pro-Life Movement was started by a lawyer named James Bopp from Indiana, who after Roe V Wade decision decided there was some big legal money to be made representing disgruntled religious organizations that were upset with the Roe V Wade decision.

    Client list

Obtained from Bopp's resume on Bopp's firm's website February 2012.[6]

Representative Clientele (present and past) as of 2012:

National Organization for Marriage, National Right to Life Committee, Focus on the Family, Susan B. Anthony List, All Children Matter, Friedman Foundation, Catholic Answers, Christian Broadcasting Network, Salem Radio, Gerard Health Foundation, Priests for Life, Traditional Values Coalition, Home School Legal Defense Association, Vision America, Common Sense America, Catholic Citizens Committee, Life Issues Institute, Physicians for Compassionate Care, the Christian Coalition*, Christian Life Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, Concerned Women for America, American Academy of Medical Ethics, National Right to Work Legal Defense and Education Foundation, Club for Growth, Citizens United, Federation for American Immigration Reform, National Federation of Independent Business, Republican Governors Association, the Libertarian Party, Republican National Committee, and the state Republican Parties of Alabama, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Texas and Vermont.

Other clients not listed on resume: Family PAC

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Bopp#cite_note-6
James Bopp became a delegate to the Republican National Convention and got himself appointed to the National Platform Committee. He also got himself hired as the General Counsel for the Republican National Committee, and the Republican Governors Association. And then he wanted to be Vice Chairman of the RNC. Well, I got on to him and called the RNC and wrote them detailing how his role in our Republican Party was a conflict of interest because he was exploiting our party to deliver results for his law clients. And he was fired. That was in 2012. But, he's back now, as Assistant General Counsel, as a "volunteer" without compensation, apparently believing that does away with his conflict of interest, but of course, it doesn't. So, when I have time, I'll have to call again to get rid of him, again.

You can read the client list, which thankfully is still up on Wiki but after 2012, the law firm no longer publishes a client list on their new website. James Bopp wanted our candidates to sign a pledge to the RNC Platform in 2012, which is why I started investigating him.

It is this man who has made our party a party of well ... religionists ..... who want religious liberty for themselves but not for someone else, who have interwoven personal religious beliefs into government policy and violated the separation of church and state. This man has almost destroyed the Republican Party turning it into a crusade organization for religious beliefs instead of political platforms. Before he came along, the Republican Party was neutral on abortion, which is the Pro-Choice position, where the decision is up to the girl or woman whether or not to have a baby, as it should be.

Silent Majority women didn't look the other way, they didn't look at all. Why would they care what another woman wants to do with her own reproduction? I could care less, whether a woman has no kids or 20 kids. It's her life, her choice, her business. Just don't come knocking on my door to feed 'em. You breed 'em, you feed 'em.

Have I shown you my Judy's Five Republican Principles To Abide? I think I posted it some years ago. Here it is again:

Judy's Five Republican Principles To Abide:

    1. If you don't believe in abortion, don't have one.
    2. If you don't believe in gay marriage, don't marry one.
    3. If you want it, you pay for it.
    4. If you breed 'em, you feed 'em.
    5. If you make it over there, you sell it over there.

It's not our place to judge, because there's nothing to judge. People have sex, they've had sex since the beginning of man and woman. In most cases, sex will lead to pregnancy unless prevention is used. Even then, things can go wrong, and someone ends up pregnant that doesn't want to be, and today there are pills one can take called the abortion pill, and then there is the abortion procedure. Some women will want to have their babies, some won't. Safe, legal procedures enable the girl or woman who doesn't want to have a baby, to terminate that pregnancy with a pill if known early enough, five days I think it is, or then an abortion procedure. And there's nothing wrong with either one. Nothing at all.

I believe with every cell in my body that the last thing our God wants is for His spectacular human species to destroy themselves and His beautiful planet through over-population from unwanted pregnancies. In every species he created, he created an instinct and a procedure to ensure against it. For humans, this instinct was in the woman, and He gave her natural plants she could use to abort. The last thing our Dear Lord wanted for life on this Earth was too much of it, that wears out the woman, devours itself, and leaves humanity with nowhere to live, no food to eat, and no water to drink, a Born to Die scenario. No, that is not God's Plan for US or His beautiful planet, that's why he gave us brains, logic, instincts and free will, that no government shall put asunder.

    I am
not taking pro or anti-abortions sides. That said, it has seemed to me to be fact that failure is assured when you legislate morality. Legislation has not stopped crime nor has Ten Commandments. Age old mystery that still exists for future ages?
