Right On Butterbean!! They wouldn't even go on the show to promote their "bill"!!

The bill is awful....all it does is legalize all the illegals.....with no border security to keep the next 10,000,000 or whatever out.

And....I've been thinking about this for awhile....we need to terminate corporate contributions to political candidates. There is nothing we can do about "individuals" but we can certainly terminate corporate contributions through PACS.

Corporations don't have a vote. Thus, they should not have the right to influence political affairs with financial contributions on any political level...state, local, or national.

FIRE GEORGE TWO, JOHN MCCAIN, TED KENNEDY, SALAZAR (YEAH, HE'S FROM COLORADO AND ONE OF THE SPONSORS OF THE MCCAIN KENNEDY BILL), LIEBERMAN, BROWNBACK (YEAH, THEY'RE SPONSORS AS WELL) AND A GUY NAMED GUTIERREZ FROM ILLINOIS (A SPONSOR OF THE BILL AS WELL).

The official name of the bill is Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act..."orderly"....now that's just too funny when you watch the films of the illegal aliens filing across the border in a steady orderly fashion...one right after another all about 5 feet apart....in fact when I watched the films I thought to myself....how orderly!!

"Orderly"....that word always made me nervous...strikes scenes of order mongers and seeing it in a bill concerning illegal immigration is really starting to annoy me....

"Orderly".....that word sounds like something a bunch of COMMIES would come up with.....

"Orderly".....New World ORDER....with an ORDERLY socio-economic system of Orderly Drones.....following the Orders of the Global Elite of the New World ORDER....so the rich are richer and the poor...everybody else....are MORE Orderly.

I'll bet that's McCain's contribution to the Act....

Act....that's an interesting word these days too....it used to mean TO DO something....you know like take an ACTION....

NOW, the word means an Act to ensure Inaction....Act drawn by Actors...a Pretense of Action....Hmmmmmm

The text of the Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act is 150 pages long.....150 pages of Act Not to Act....

Do you all have any idea how much money was spent in Congressional Staff Time to devise 150 pages of text and ensure that it accomplished nothing....that took some highly skilled LAWYERS....to come up with 150 pages of WORDS that they call an Act.....That Doesn't DO Anything.

GET THESE BEANHEADS OUT OF OUR GOVERNMENT....

WE DON'T WANT OUR TAX MONEY USED FOR CRAP LIKE THIS....

What an insult....did THEY really think this would get by US???

McCain, Kennedy and other supporters said those measures have not worked.

I mean, we have 535 U.S. reps... Let's just say 500 to make that calculation easier... Supposing each got a million dollars for re-election and their challengers the same... This would be a billion dollars (assuming just 1 general-election challenger).

First reaction is "oh my goodness, how can we afford a billion dollars.".. But our government gives 20 billion for the Ag-Biz in subsidies each year... Also, there are billions for the oil industry, which includes the world's most profitable companies...

In other words, if we had representative reps, we'd save money, because all of these wasteful subsidies would have no popular support... For example, why are we giving 100's of millions to the timber industry for the dubious benefit of logging our public lands and then leaving the landscape scarred with deserted roads??? Is this the "free market" or "taxpayer-subsidized socialism"???

Currently, 40% of U.S. senators are millionaires... I've read that the 2 parties like to run millionaires, because millionaires can fund their own election campaign... Do we want a government of millionaires who live in gated communities and send their kids to private schools??? Is it any wonder that many of these Senators have a different perspective on "illegal immigration" than the rest of us???

So, we need public funding, and definitely NO corporate funding... There was a movie-documentary a couple of years ago called "The Corporation.".. The movie posed the question "if a corporation were a person, what sort of person would it be???" The answer "a psycopath.".. Corporations are not citizens and should not have a greater share of democracy just because they have lots of wealth.
