    You are so right laughinglynx.

Justthefacts, There is always something missing from these stories.
The obamanation administration never ceases to amaze me.
No more than any recent OBL administrations.
I always hope our message is getting through to them.
We sure spend a bunch of our time and energy trying.
Weird a states county sheriff would be sued by the federal government
for such excellent work against the illegal alien invasion..
I love the enforcement and question the motives. Could it be they just want
    another sob story published?

This situation is played out over, and over and over again.

A minister who full well knows who is "flock" is. He aids and abets.

Legal Lationo relatives who harbor, aid and abet these illegals, now will become either temporary or full time babysitters or legal guardians....if ICE gets serious and deports these people, or charges them with identify theft.

Weeping teen age anchor babies who have illegal parent/parents.....they won't cry for long...they don't get mad....they get even.

This crap is becoming common place in every state in this Union. Washington state is getting more and more of this trash because of Arizonas stand, no construction work, Washington's high minimum wage and a pandering state social and health service aid.

Tsk tsk tsk...would not have to worry about raids if you had come here legally. No need to live in "fear" though. Take your law-breaking carcasses back to your home countries and apply to come in the right way. Don't forget to take your jackpot kiddies, we don't want to separate families and minor children belong with their parents. Leaving them here is abandonment, lack of moral and bad values.

They need to ship the kids out with them. NO ANCHOR BRATS. We need more sweeps like this nationwide. I am sure that the 2 doz is not even a drop in the bucket from what it could have been. Whole neighborhoods need to be swept and if the parents are illegal then the parents and kids need to go. The bleeding hearts were complaining about the kids left behind...send them packing with the adults. Problem solved.

ELLENSBURG, Wash. -- The Ellensburg community met Friday night to confront authorities on the recent immigration raids that shook up a small central Washington community.

Ricardo Gonzalez, 17, of Ellensburg told KIRO 7 that both of his parents were arrested in the raid that took place early Thursday morning.

"My mom opened the door and I heard her screaming 'Why, why?' and then I heard someone say 'Everybody come out with your hands up in the air," Gonzalez said.

Several community members expressed outrage at the tactics used by federal agents and questioned whether another raid was planned. The county undersheriff said there are currently no plans for another immigration raid.

The Ellensburg Daily Record reported earlier this week that agents with police and Kittitas County sheriff's deputies using a helicopter served 11 search warrants and made an undisclosed number of arrests.

The Department of Homeland Security announced Friday that they had arrested 14 people and taken another 16 into custody. The 14 arrested were scheduled to make initial court appearances on Friday, DHS officials said.

Thirteen of the people arrested were charged with visa fraud and government identification fraud, and three of the 13 have also been charged with a false claim to U.S. citizenship, DHS said. The one remaining person of the 14 has been charged with re-entry into the U.S. after deportation, according to DHS.

"Those who create and sell fraudulent documents compromise our nation's legal identification system and provide counterfeit identities to those who may otherwise be ineligible to live or work legally in the United States," said Leigh Winchell, special agent in charge of Homeland Security Investigations in Washington. "Targeting those who commit this type of crime is an enforcement priority for HSI."

DHS said the 16 others were taken into custody on administrative immigration violations. Three of them were released "for humanitarian reasons" while they await a hearing before an immigration judge, and the rest are in the custody, according to DHS.

In addition to the activism by the local community, a Seattle-based immigration rights group said it is sending volunteers to Ellensburg to help the families of those who were arrested.

Federal raid leads to 30 being taken into custody
    Posted: Friday, January 21, 2011 10:11 am | Updated: 1:51 pm, Fri Jan 21, 2011.

Federal agents early Thursday morning arrested 14 Ellensburg area residents related to criminal charges of manufacture and purchase of counterfeit identity and employment documents, according to a news release from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Another 16 were taken into custody on administrative immigration violations, and three of those were later released for humanitarian reasons, according to the news release issued this morning.

All 30 are Mexican nationals, according to ICE/HSI spokeswoman Lorie Dankers in Seattle, and the three released were women.

Assisting the federal agents were Kittitas County Sheriff's deputies and Ellensburg police officers.

At least two of the locations where search warrants were carried out and arrests made were at Millpond Mobile Manor on Canyon Road southeast of Ellensburg and a mobile home park on West University Way.

A helicopter with a searchlight was part of the federal operation.

The 14 were expected to make their initial appearance in federal court this morning in Yakima.

They were arrested early Thursday morning by ICE/HSI agents on criminal charges related to an investigation into the manufacture and purchase of counterfeit identity and employment documents.

ICE/HSI agents were joined by other federal and local law enforcement agencies as they served 11 criminal search warrants at 22 locations Thursday morning in Ellensburg and in county areas near the city.

All of those arrested on criminal charges were indicted by a federal grand jury in the Eastern District of Washington earlier this month as a result of an investigation that has been ongoing since summer 2009.

According to the release, of the 14 scheduled to appear this morning in federal court, 13 of the defendants are charged with visa fraud and government identity fraud. Three of the defendants have the additional charge of false claim to U.S. citizenship.

The one remaining defendant is charged with re-entry into the United States after deportation.

"Those who create and sell fraudulent documents compromise our nation's legal identification system and provide counterfeit identities to those who may otherwise be ineligible to live or work legally in the United States," said Leigh Winchell, special agent in charge of HSI in Washington state in the release. "Targeting those who commit this type of crime is an enforcement priority for ICE Homeland Security Investigations."

In addition to the 14 criminal arrests, 16 others were taken into custody on administrative immigration violations.

Three individuals were interviewed and released for humanitarian reasons while they await a hearing before an immigration judge.

The remaining individuals are in the custody of ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations at the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma where they have been placed in removal proceedings.

HSI was assisted in this investigation by the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington; the Drug Enforcement Administration; the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; the State Department Bureau of Diplomatic Security; U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Air and Marine Operations; the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office; the Yakima County Violent Crimes Task Force; and the Ellensburg Police Department.

According to court papers, the criminal fraud charges relate to the manufacture and sale of fraudulent documents to individuals who subsequently used them to gain employment at various businesses in Eastern and Western Washington.

Washington State also has one law also. An illegal man and woman can adopt a legal child and that means they can stay here legally. One of the Washington State loopholes that illegals are taking advantage of. That comes directly from a social worker in Wa. State. They don't want immigration reform since the farmers there love the illegals to pick the fruit crops there in the summer. They don't want that workforce to go away.

It could be just another ploy by the liberals trying to put every single raid into the papers to show how they are cracking down so again they can try and win support fom the Nightmare Act. After all just because they arrested some doesn't mean they will be deported and not just checked and released later citing "family hardship" and other sob agenda's.

But there won't be any Amnesty this year or next. Long as the GOP doesn't do a retarded thing like put a nutcase up in 2012 presidential powers alone could stop this as we already have all the laws in place. Long as he/she is willing to take some heavy heat.
