Thread: NYT/CBS Poll: Trump Holds Strong Double-Digit Lead Nationally

Donald Trump continues to hold a strong lead over his Republican rivals for the Republican presidential nomination, while Ted Cruz remains in second place and Marco Rubio climbs to third — supplanting Ben Carson, a new survey shows.

Here are the results of The New York Times-CBS poll released Tuesday:

Trump: 36 percent.
Cruz: 19 percent.
Rubio: 12 percent.
Carson and Jeb Bush: 6 percent each.
Mike Huckabee: 4 percent.
Chris Christie and Carly Fiorina: 3 percent each.
John Kasich: 2 percent.
Rand Paul: 1 percent.

The survey of 1,276 adults nationwide, including 1,094 registered voters, was conducted between Thursday and Sunday.

Good deal. However, I'd like to see Rubio's numbers take a dive. I don't want to see him anywhere near Trump and Cruz!
