    Hispanics criticize Supreme Court ruling

Hispanics criticize Supreme Court ruling on Arizona's illegal immigration law

Leaders of the Latin American and U.S. Hispanic communities continued sharp criticisms Friday against a Supreme Court decision that upholds a tough state law against illegal immigration.

They say the ruling on Thursday will lead to discrimination against Hispanic people.

The Arizona law empowers local police to shut down any business that knowingly hires illegal immigrants.

The Supreme Court ruling is expected to encourage other states to enact similar laws to ensure employees are Americans.

The Obama administration opposed the Arizona law, saying the state was authorizing itself to set immigration policy that the Constitution reserves to the federal government.

The Supreme Court said Arizona was not setting a new immigration policy, merely enforcing the federal laws that already exist.

“Arizona hopes that its law will result in more effective enforcement of the prohibition on employing unauthorized aliens,â€

How is this law discriminating against legal Hispanics? They would have proper I.D. to work in this country.

What's this crap about immigrants? The ruling doesn't affect legal immigrants.

It really gets me how these Hispanic advocates whine and moan about the employers not being punished and yet this ruling will do just that. They are such hypocritical liars. Their agenda is very clear and that is to deny us any resources or laws that would deter illegal immigration from their ethnic kind and to allow them to remain here. These aren't real Americans. They are ethnocentric, racist traitors. They totally disgust me!

The countries complaining the loudest are the countries that enjoy billions of dollars in remittances being pumped into their economies by their illegal invading citizens squatting in our country. Funny how that works…

I cannot believe those so-called ethnic leaders, what country do they think they live in? Some Hispanic leaders have and are really working very hard to CHANGE our country into a new latin american country, they really are as they are pushing their ethnic group as being more deserving than other ethnic groups. The arrogance is beyond belief!

Excuse me 'mi hombre' but this is the United States of America. OK?

I am sorry Maldef, Lulac etc etc but this is a country ruled by laws and NOT by men, you know those who you give brown envelopes under teh table to get something done, right, you know what I mean?

The SCOTUS decision is EXACTLY what we need, the rule of law! You are illegally, well either we deport you or you self-deport. Guess what the latter is cheaper. And I am so sorry for all those wonderful human beings but they can go home and change their country and guess what they will be able to maintain their culture and their own language. Isn't that great?

Sorry, but hey when I immigrated to thsi country I did it the legal way and I didnt expect to be catered to in my ethnic language.

    God Bless America!
