‘Where’s the Fence?’: Video of Angry Resident Confronting McCain on Immigration During Town Hall

“Cut off their welfare and all their stuff and they’ll go back!”
That’s what Arizona resident Keith Smith told John McCain at a town hall meeting on Tuesday. And he wasn’t done there.
“You said build the dang fence! Where’s the fence?”
When McCain turned around to point at a graph, the man quickly shouted out, “That’s not a fence.” A slightly smug McCain shot back, “It’s a banana. We’ve putten up a banana with about $600 million dollars worth of appropriations.”
The Associated Press has more on McCain’s response, as well as the audience members:
“There are 11 million people living here illegally,” he said. “We are not going to get enough buses to deport them.”Photographers captured some of the heated exchange (Smith is shown in the second picture):
Some audience members shouted out their disapproval.
One man yelled that only guns would discourage illegal immigration. Another man complained that illegal immigrants should never be able to become citizens or vote. A third man said illegal immigrants were illiterate invaders who wanted free government benefits.
McCain urged compassion. “We are a Judeo-Christian nation,” he said. McCain’s other town hall meeting took place in Green Valley, south of Tucson.

“I think he doesn’t want the American people to stand up and ask him the tough questions and hold his feet to the fire, and I’m one of those people,” Smith told the outlet after.
As for McCain, he took a shot at the reporter, saying the journalist was trying to create controversy by asking about the tension. The reporter’s response?
“This was a very rough town hall meeting,” he said. “A lot of Republicans in that room clearly did not care for immigration reform.”

In the video he says: "They mow our lawns, they care for our babies..." Didn't our teenagers used to do these things? It seems to me that almost every job that teens used to do to gain work experience before moving on to a career has been taken over by IAs who make it their career.
In my youth I was a busboy, a waiter, I mowed lawns, I babysat etc., etc. Any teen wishing to do so today can hardly compete other than babysitting a family friends kids every now and then.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

McCain is simply another progressive too much a part of DC establishment to have any common sense at all,we need term limits so these people can't in breed in DC,why should anyone be a professional politician certainly the founding fathers never intended this method of governing.
McCain is for the power circle not working Americans.I'm old with many opinions few solutions.

Yes, we did. In the blue collar neighborhood where I grew up, we did everything that Americans supposedly won't do - except for field work, of course. Not much of that in the inner city
McCain is a flip-flopping liar. He's old enough to know that American kids - and adults, too, in my neighborhood - did all of those jobs. And we were glad to get them.
McCain & Co. are simply lying. The bizarre thing is not the lies, it's that in their scramble for docile, cheap labor, they are signing an extinction order for the Grand Old Party. Given amnesty, most illegals will vote Demo, just as most legal Hispanics do now. What is the world are McCain & Co. thinking?
