John McCain cites Ronald Reagan, slams GOP on Ukraine aid
H2 Note: John McCain is the epitome NeoCon thug begging to throw more dead American bodies and trillions of dollars we don't have into a (fabricated) war on the other side of the earth while at the same time is a member of the 'Gang of Eight' who knowingly and intentionally fights for jobs and protections for illegal aliens while Americans are being run out of the job market and our border continues to be an open sieve for unchecked masses of illegal aliens pouring into this country. Ronald Reagan would gladly WHIP HIS TREASONOUS, WORTHLESS ASS, and in broad daylight with a large crowd cheering him on. Ask yourself what John McCain was doing in Ukraine the week before the $hit hit the fan over there.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) ripped fellow Republicans on Thursday for objecting to a package of aid and sanctions to respond to the Ukrainian crisis, calling himself “embarrassed” and telling his GOP colleagues: “Don’t call yourself Reagan Republicans.”
The Senate has erupted in a dispute over provisions related to the International Monetary Fund in the Ukraine bill, as conservative Republicans protest that it is an unnecessary component of the package that passed the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on a bipartisan vote this week.
In a fiery floor speech Thursday evening, McCain, who backed the Ukraine bill and has urged for a speedy congressional response, said he hasn’t “been embarrassed this way about members of my own party.”
“I will say to my friends who were objecting to this – and there are a number of them on my side – you can call yourself Republicans; that’s fine because that’s your voter registration,” McCain said. “Don’t call yourself Reagan Republicans. Ronald Reagan would never – would never – let this kind of aggression go unresponded to by the American people.”
McCain also criticized a push from Republicans to delay an Obama administration proposal cracking down on political nonprofits in the Ukraine package – something that the GOP believed could help lure some of their lawmakers who are uncomfortable with the IMF section.
“Our signal to the people of Ukraine today – as Russian military forces are massing on their border – wait a minute, it’s more important that we get our campaign finance regulations fixed,” said McCain, who is leading a Senate delegation to Ukraine that begins Thursday night.
The Senate is set to leave for recess without having passed an aid package to Ukraine. The House has overwhelmingly passed legislation that provides loan assistance to Ukraine, but it does not include sanctions nor the IMF reforms.
Still, an administration official said a one- to two-week delay in Congress approving the loan guarantees would not have a “meaningful impact on timing on which the Ukraine guarantees would be done.” Interim Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk of Ukraine also cautioned that “it always takes time to make good things” when asked Wednesday about a potential delay in assistance to his country.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) filed cloture on the legislation Thursday night and said it will be the first item of business that his chamber takes up when senators return March 24.
The House legislation “has not a single binding sanction in it,” McCain said. “Not one. Not one binding sanction in it. Not one strong message to the people of Ukraine that we’re supporting them.”
