100 Congressional Seats Up for Grabs in Next Tuesday's Primaries -- Check Out Our Candidate Comparison Pages

Next Tuesday, 10 states will hold Primary elections for nearly 1/4 of all U.S. House seats.

NumbersUSA has a huge treasure trove of new CANDIDATE COMPARISON PAGES that compare the immigration positions of candidates in races with important immigration implications. We've completed comparison grids for all the Senate primaries as well as races where candidates have completed our Immigration-Reduction Survey. Over the next month, we hope to have all 435 House races on our website, but we'll need your help to fill up the grids.

Please check our election section for the congressional and gubernatorial races in your state this year. Most of the candidates have thus far declined to take our immigration survey. Candidates -- especially incumbents -- generally won't take a survey unless they feel tremendous constituency pressure. So, we are depending on you to take the steps noted on these Candidate Comparison Pages to push candidates to fill out the survey and be publicly counted.

Be sure you vote every time the polls open this year. Turnout will be fairly light. We need to make sure that NumbersUSA members are a disproportonate part of the voting public.

While California's 53 Congressional seats, a Senate seat, and the Governor's mansion are all up for grabs, much of Tuesday's focus will be in Nevada where Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is fighting for his life, and his November opponent will be chosen. Since Arizona passed its new immigration enforcement law, Sen. Reid has pushed for a mass amnesty in an attempt to motivate Hispanic voters in Nevada. Check out the candidate comparison page to see how Sen. Reid ranks and his potential Republican opponents.

In California, illegal immigration has become a key issue in the state's gubernatorial race as candidates debate ways to solve the state's fiscal problems. Republican candidates have taken strong stands, while Independent candidate Chelene Nightingale has taken the strongest stand by completing our Immigration-Reduction survey. See how the candidates stack up on the California Gubernatorial comparison grid.

In Arkansas, Democratic Senator Blanche Lincoln looks to keep her re-election bid intact in a run-off against Bill Halter. The winner of Tuesday's run-off will face Immigration Champion and current House Rep. John Boozman in the general election.

Primaries are also being held in Iowa, Maine, Montana, North Dakota, New Jersey, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Virginia.

Again, we'll need your help this summer to fill up all of our candidate comparison grids our website. Download our survey (PDF file) and send it to your favorite candidate and urge them to support lower immigration levels.
