Thread: Just Back From the DC Rally!!!

Ok so I am back from the rally! What an experience! I have never been heckled and vilified so thoroughly in my life!!! The protestors were all what we in Washington refer to as the "rent a rioters" you find many of the same guys and gals at IMF, WTO, World Bank meetings burning things and being generally angry at America and capitalism. For lack of a better term socialist scum. No noticeable immigrant rights organizations, very strange.

The rally was inspiring and I think I and ALIPAC will be in the Washington Post tomorrow...I made sure to mention my affiliation with this esteemed organization. Very good PR I hope... He asked how I learned of the protest and I mentioned ALIPAC, I made sure to tell him that I didn't speak for the organization in any official capacity so no worries. Anyways, I didnt make any extremist statements...

Also, I have photos...and think you will love them...how do i "get the thingies onto the thingie" how my mom shows shes a luddite. Im no geek either. Help please! I will go into more detail about the rally later...

Hey Zack. What I want to know is what sign were you holding? I want to see if I saw you on C-Span.

Great job by the way. It seemed intense at times. Did you stick around after everyone finished speaking? It looked like there was still some back and forth between us and them.

Ill just wait until my intellectually superior girlfriend gets home to post them here.... I must say that I am worried,... one of my law professors told me to be aware of the opposition figuring out where i live and threatening me as I of course gave the reporter my name (being PROUD of my point of view and right to it) but I also mentioned the name of the locale I am in making it very easy to locate me.... well i am trained and armed to defend myself but dont want to have to. I called him and left a message asking him to leave out the locale in the column...no word yet... just called and unlisted my # too...gotta run back to talk more later...

Zack, it's people like you that are the real heros, thanks for spending your time and money and not to mention the heckling you had to put up with to stand up for your country. It's because of these things that we will win in the end
