Kyle says "ILLEGAL ALIEN AMNESTY WILL PASS THE SENATE&q

"ILLEGAL ALIEN AMNESTY WILL PASS THE SENATE" from Senator Jon Kyl (R-AZ) at today's Town Hall in Sun Lakes, AZ

Demonstrate your grief publicly at the loss of US sovereignty, knowing that the US Senate supports legal status for 20 million-plus illegal aliens (and with legal status they become eligible for welfare and public assistance for them and their families they'll bring here PDQ.

Senator Kyl did mention the hope of neutralizing the "amnesty" by either Senate amendments or in the behind-closed-door conference committee proceedings, but he expressed the odds of success as only 50-50. So wear the mourning symbols until we know for certain that illegal alien amnesty has been defeated (and that includes "guest worker amnesty" disguises).

For the black ribbon, go to any fabric store or craft mart or even a variety store and ask for 1/4 yard (9") of black ribbon, and use clear nail polish on the ends to prevent fraying. Wear the black ribbon in a loop (like those for AIDS or Breast Cancer or Support our Troops) anchored by your American flag pin. If you already have a black armband, wear that with your US flag pin. To those who ask "Why" tell them that their US Senators have "compromised" to allow illegal alien lawbreakers to remain in the US with a "path to citizenship" allowing them to vote.

Call both the local and Washington DC offices of your federal House members and Senators and tell them about your public symbol of mourning. The toll-free number for the Washington DC offices is 888 355-3588.

To call the local district offices, you'll find the phone numbers at www.house.gov for House members and www.senate.gov for Senators. If one of your Senators is facing re-election in November, tell them your vote won't go to anyone who votes for illegal alien amnesty. Continue the phone calls until we know that illegal alien amnesty is removed from the legislation.

On CNN and FOX today, Congressmen Tom Tancredo and JD Hayworth both shared the firm House resolve against amnesty for illegal aliens, no matter what Senators pass.

It's better to have no bill at all than one with amnesty and "enforcement." We learned from the "one time amnesty" in 1986 that promises of future enforcement are phony. When we actually SEE the enforcement, then we'll talk about amnesty.

Here's a list of Senators facing re-election in November:

    Democrats: CA-Diane Feinstein, CT-Joe Liebermann, DE-Thomas Carper, FL-Bill Nelson, HI-Daniel Akaka,MA-Ted Kennedy, MD-Paul Sarbanes, MI-Debbie Stabenow, MN-Mark Dayton, NE-Ben Nelson, NM-Jeff Bingamon, NY-Hillary Clinton, ND-Kent Conrad, NJ-Jon Corzine, WI-Herb Kohl, WVa-Robert Byrd, WA-Maria Cantwell

    Republicans: AZ-Jon Kyl, IN-Richard Lugar, ME-Olympia Snowe, MS-Trent Lott, MT-Conrad Burns, MO-James Talent, NV-John Ensign, OH-Mike DeWine, PA-Rick Santorum, RI-Lincoln Chafee, TN-Bill Frist, TX-Kay Bailey Hutchinson, UT-Orrin Hatch, VA-George Allen, WY-Craig Thomas

Should any Senate staffer continue to insist that their boss "opposes amnesty" but will vote for the "compromise" (anything that allows illegal aliens to remain in the US is amnesty), use Judge Judy's famous reply:
"Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining."
Illegal aliens remain exempt from American laws, while they DEMAND American rights...

Yes, MAMIE, before Memorial day..........but my take/instinct is that they're going to try to get it done before that.

Remember, they made a DEAL that NO AMENDMENTS can be added or challenged! A very devious deal.

It's going to be very important that on Monday they're ALL contacted and bombarded with calls/faxes/emails!!!

Yes indeed... I suggest we all organize a BLACK MONDAY for May 22nd where we get thousands of folks to bombard phone lines of the Senate Judiciary Committee as well as everyone's Senators and tell them a simple one-liner:

"you have failed me on immigration and now I'm going to fail you at the polls. I intend to notify everyone I know and we are going to bring the events which occurred at Herndon, VA to your door steps there in Washington D.C. McDonalds is hiring, if you get there before illegal aliens do. Thank you."

If something akin to that doesn't work to set them straight, then I honestly believe that nothing will.

We need to bom-bard them now and say, no guest worker amnesty.

Dose anyone know what happens next. I know the Senate will go back to the House and negotiate a compromise. However, will it go to the Senate Floor for vote before or after the House negotiation? I'm a little lost here!

Right now we are focusing on the Senators on the Judicary committee like Frist, Kyl and Cornyn. Who is next our Senators or House members?

What if the Full Senate does not vote to pass this bill?

I normally do not follow a bill this closely. I normally voice my oppinon with my Congressman but now, I need to really eagle eye them.

    Keep on taking it easy

Why........ I think we should just sit back... talk about it some more, and then watch it happen. Don't you?

Iiamstheone - I realize there might be a hint of sarcasm in there somewhere, but I also realize sarcasm is used at times as a thinly veiled criticism.

The reason we "talk about it" is to help drive one another into taking action. Let me ask you this: If there is a bill you know is detrimental to the country but you decide that you're just one person and you don't know if your action will make any difference because you aren't sure how many others are taking similar action - would you NOT even bother if you didn't know others were making a concerted effort along with you?

To KNOW others are taking action plays a very important psychological role - knowing others are rising to the front lines causes one to realize that it is "the thing" to get involved in due to it's importance.

I now rise to the occasion in asking you what kind of action you suggest - and how can it be accomplished without a communications network to rally others to make similar efforts? Because without a communications network with thousands of others and you choose to act alone - you will be the laughing stock of Congress and the Senate as they mock you into oblivion.

    What are YOUR suggestions??
