Photo Contest! Coming to a Neighborhood Near You!
How about we start a thread titled something like, "Coming to a Neighborhood Near You" and every ALIPACer posts a limit of ONE photo to the thread of a neighborhood that has been overrun in the last 5-10 years. I have been planning a feature like that for the NC Voice website with a slightly different twist, but why not go ahead and get it rolling now at ALIPAC? I think it would be a real eye opener for visitors to the site to see the actual changes taking shape across America!
Anybody interested?
Who wants to go first? Be sure to name the City and State where the photo was taken, and maybe a line or two about the change in the neighborhood.
Please limit the submission to one photo only because this could easily grow into quite a long thread!

Sounds like a good idea.
I wish I had a picture to start this off with. So now I will have to be on the look out for places around Phoenix to get a picture.

I have over a hundred pictures from my town. I'll start with one, but will add more until others are able to. Can't help it!!!
This used to be a post office. I've called to find out their hours and the woman answering could not speak English and had to hand me over to someone else. Note: this picture was taken a year ago, the Mexican flag is still there but in tatters. Can I post more???

This thread is about 8 months too late for me. Man-oh-man....the pictures I could have taken and posted here from my old neighborhood in San Diego, Mexifornia.
But I'm outta there now and, thankfully, there are no such pictures to take in my new city (yet).Calderon was absolutely right when he said...."Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico".

However....
Click on the link below to the "Rick Roberts" show website (on 760KFMB radio). Scroll down the page about 1/4 of the way, and you'll see Rick's slideshow of one of the canyons in San Diego where the illegals live (Rancho Penasquitos).
Sorry....the link isn't working.Calderon was absolutely right when he said...."Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico".

Rick Roberts did a program on his talk radio show about the dangers of illegals camping in the canyons of San Diego after the fires out here.
As you can see from the pic's MK posted it is a real danger and it is against the law to have fires in these canyons.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
