Laura Ingraham starts off by saying that the Democrats are, in her opinion, in some real trouble here, “Because they’re setting a precarious precedent,” and then goes on to provide realistic hypothetical examples of what could happen to policies they champion once the executive shoe is on the Republican foot.
Corporate taxes and “environmental” issues were the examples Ingraham raised, but it could be anything. Once this dictatorial genie is out of the bottle, it could prove very difficult for the people to wrest control of their government back from the hands of the power elites.
Ingraham points to how ridiculous it is that the Democrats are somehow citing Ronald Reagan as a foundation for their illegality, saying that she worked for Reagan, and it was a failure of the agreed upon border enforcement that has led us to where we are today on immigration. The lesson being that border security and enforcement must come first or they probably won’t come at all.
Megyn Kelly asks about an argument of Rep Henry Cuellar (D-TX) that brings the percentage of illegals versus citizen population as some sort of justification for what they are doing, and again, invoking the actions of previous presidents. Ingraham says that rather than repeating the mistakes of the past, we should learn from them and amnesty was a mistake.
If we want to see how well amnesty is working, Ingraham says we should take a look at California, with their healthcare, prisons, overcrowded schools, all taking place without any Republicans in statewide office.
They play what Kelly refers to as an “explicit admission” that what he is expected to do is a violation of the law and the Constitution. Ingraham says it’s just more Obama, that his words mean nothing, he’s all about fundamental transformation of our nation and he’ll do whatever it takes to accomplish his goals.
Whether something is true or not makes no difference at all to this guy.
Laura Ingraham closes by pointing out how the American workers are being largely ignored in this debate, and they are the ones who are going to pay the price for the actions of the liberal and other elites who represent special interests rather than the American people.
Megyn Kelly says that people need to consider the amount of power that this grants to the executive branch and both agree the people will rue the day that they allowed this to happen.

Tonight on “The Kelly File,” Laura Ingraham said executive action on illegal immigration could get Democrats in some trouble, noting that it would set “a really precarious precedent.”
Ingraham said action would mean that if we had a Republican president in 2016, he or she could grant reprieves on corporate taxes or other Republican issues with the stroke of a pen, too.
“We’re about to see another fraud perpetrated on the American people,” she warned on illegal immigration.
Ingraham charged that this is about amassing power and transforming the U.S. for Obama.
She noted that legal immigrants are under huge financial pressure to survive in this nation.
“Does anyone represent them on Capitol Hill?” she questioned.
As for the framers of our Constitution? Ingraham said they’re “doing a triple-Lutz in their graves.”
