Thread: What will OUR history be?

I think that most people simply do not understand. The sad thing is they do not understand because they choose not to.
The world, as we presently know it to be has not always been. Through out the history of time there have been wars, encroachments, take over, human migration, treaties;
Austria - The Treaty of St Germain 10th September 1919Land - Austria lost land to Italy, Czechoslovakia and Serbia (Yugoslavia).
Hungary - The Treaty of Trianon 4th June 1920Land - Hungary lost land to Austria, Czechoslovakia, Romania and Serbia (Yugoslavia) reducing its size from 283,000 sq km to less than 93,000 sq km.
Bulgaria - The Treaty of Neuilly 27th November 1919Land - Bulgaria lost land to Greece, Romania and Serbia (Yugoslavia).
Turkey – The Treaty of Sevres 20th August 1920Land - Turkey lost land to Greece. The League of Nations took control of Turkey's colonies.
AND SALE OF LAND - 1853 that the "Gadsden Purchase" sold off the various southwestern states to the United States government.
This is how the world and all of it's territories, colonies, states, countries and borders have become what we now know it to be. It is what it is! The United States of America, regardless of how we came to be is still The United States of America and we have BORDERS!
The problem as I see it is that we "Americans" are not fighting for our borders! Learn from history, this is how countries are lost! There is nothing written in stone that our borders will not change, that our country's borders will always remain as they are today. Things have been ever changing through out the history of time. Just because it has been written in a history book, does not mean it cannot or will not change. It just means that your children, grandchildren or great grandchildren will be taught history that has evolved beyond today! There shall be a NEW HISTORY, whether it is that we gave our country away or that we fought for our country and our children’s future remains to be seen. What do you want that history be? WE NEED TO FIGHT FOR OUR BORDERS; OUR RIGHTS and OUR COUNTRY!!!

Agreed. The poetic justice of it is that our judicial system enacting laws reflecting cultural sensitivities of diverse immigrants is destroying the very reason that people come to the U.S. anyway.

I agree!! I will be posting "The Modern Day Immigrant"
I believe that is the core of what threatens my country, immigrants of past came here to become an "American" and all that it stood for. What will be left standing if we allow all other countries and their ways encroach on ours?? We will no longer be America, at least not the one that was Founded by Our Forefathers!
