Leftist 'Biden Agenda' Seeks to Redefine 'American' Identity — Victor Davis Hanson

We are in the midst of a revolutionary epoch, and most Americans probably don’t even know it.
So believes conservative commentator, Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, frequent Fox News contributor, and all-around intellectual brainiac, Victor Davis Hanson.
In a recent syndicated op-ed, VDH made the case that America’s institutions are being “absorbed,” not just by the “woke apparat,” but by “an array of ideologies that seeks to destroy them,” as well.
The collective madness that ensued from the pandemic, the quarantine, the self-induced recession, the George Floyd killing and subsequent months of exempted riots, the election year, and the resurgence of variants of the Chinese-engineered coronavirus all ignited the fuse of formerly inert socialist dynamite.
And the ensuing explosion of revolutionary fervor in just a few months has made America almost unrecognizable.
“Formerly inert socialist dynamite” and “the ensuing explosion of revolutionary fervor.” Ain’t that the truth?

It’s “almost” like the left-wing loons check out the game plan and daily talking points, every day, without fail, to find out what they’re supposed to get worked up about — then promptly jump on social media to make uninformed idiots out of themselves, or perhaps grab a few bricks or incendiary devices and head out to the latest riot. Why, it’s as if they can’t think for themselves, bless their clueless little hearts.
Two million illegal aliens in the current fiscal year?

If it is true that two million illegal aliens will cross the southern border with impunity in the current fiscal year, then the Biden agenda is apparently to help erode the idea of citizenship and anybody defined as an American.
Under the socialist ethos, the indigent in Yucatan and the impoverished migrant from Nigeria have as much right to enter and live in the United States as U.S. citizens.
And their respective rights under the living Constitution are now nearly identical.
Amen, Victor.
And it’s only taken Biden seven months to erase our border.
In just seven months, our southern border has vanished. Apparently, it was an artificial construct that obstructed the migrations of the global community.
We are back to a natural, pre-civilizational and Rousseauian idea of freeing migrating tribes from the chains of civilization.
And what better way to start than dispensing with unique borders, citizenship, and the idea of a nation-state?
Despite Biden’s protestations to the contrary (bald-faced lies), the Biden Border Crisis™ is progressing exactly as planned — with the ultimate objective being a permanent change in America’s demographics, which the Democrats believe would “forever” lock in a stranglehold on all three branches of the federal government. But you already knew that.
Today’s Democrat Party makes even globalist Barack Obama look like a piker.
As VDH correctly observed, the stated objective of socialism — including that of America’s moronic rabid Left — is to align a foreign policy with the interests of the “global oppressed” rather than the citizens of a particular nation, AKA: America.
Socialism aligns foreign policy with the interests of the global oppressed rather than the citizens of a particular nation. In reductionist terms, what do lifting sanctions on Iran and appeasing its theocracy, reaching out to Hamas and snubbing Israel, and allowing the Taliban to overrun Afghanistan have in common?
Just as the United States is trying to rebrand itself as a sort of new, non-Western nation, so it clumsily seeks to recalibrate its foreign policy to cease support for the overdog, the American client, and the more Westernized. We are to believe that an empowered Persian Shiite crescent offers equity to the silenced of the Middle East.
And the Taliban?
The Taliban, perhaps regrettably, better represents indigenous Afghan culture than does the Westernized bourgeois elite in Kabul. Hezbollah and Hamas are the more authentic Middle Easterners than the Western Zionist interlopers of Israel. In other words, our foreign policy is in a revolutionary flux.
It makes so much sense, does it not?
And it is a tragedy that so many low-(no)-information liberals blindly buy the bullshi narrative.
Approach to capitalism: liberals vs. “true revolutionaries.”
Again, VDH nailed it.
Liberals try to yank capitalism to the left; but true revolutionaries seek to dismantle the very tenets upon which it is based. No wonder that a recent poll showed most Democrats had a more favorable view (59 percent) of socialism than of capitalism (49 percent).
Stop the tape. Why is that? (I got this one.) Because the indoctrinators and programmers — from Leftist sock puppets of CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, et al., to the no-longer-hallowed halls of academia continue to, yeah — indoctrinate and program mush brains with narrative-driven lies, not facts. And VDH?
So, the Right shouts “They are socialists!” And the Left fires back “smears and lies!” while quietly the Biden Administration has already begun systematically to warp the rules of free-market capitalism. In other words, we are apparently all to be socialists now.
Davis-Hanson also hit the notion of Biden’s disastrous evictions moratorium and the principle that those who borrow money are obligated to pay it back — imagine that —before moving to crime, law enforcement, and the insanity of the “Defund the Police” narrative.
Defund the Police?
“Defund the police” became a socialist slogan supposedly to remind us that “crime” is what the rich call going into Walgreens to grab something they never fret about needing.
COVID-19 is not the real reason why prisoners are freed from jails and prison to commit new crimes at an alarming rate.
Indeed, those people didn’t really commit crimes so much as reflect society’s bad karma of arbitrarily labeling what they did as “crimes” in the first place, which in truth were often simply cries from the heart.
And the subsequent insanity…
Two years ago, it would have been considered absurd that youth would ride bikes into drug stores and steal with impunity as security guards watched, or thieves could enter into Neiman-Marcus department stores and skip out with thousands of dollars of rich people’s favorites.
Over $2 billion in “stuff” was destroyed in 2020. And almost none of the violence was ever properly investigated, the perpetrators arrested, charged, tried, convicted, sentenced, or incarcerated.
Incidentally, while multiple Democrat-controlled cities were initially all over the insanity of the Defund Movement, only Minneapolis appears to remain loony, with activists pushing to disband the city’s police department in an upcoming vote. Their alternative? A “public health” approach, instead. [ROFL emoji.]

And as Victor Davis Hanson submitted at the top, he believes America is in the midst of a revolutionary epoch and probably most Americans don’t even know it. Are we? I suspect he’s right. If so, how does it end? In other words, who wins? And how much worse does it get before it gets better?
Dunno.
But I do know, based on the pushback from angry parents against arrogant, condescending Leftist school boards and the insanity of Marist-driven Critical Race Theory — and subsequent banning of CRT by multiple states — that it’s a yuuge start.
A “we’re mad as hell and we’re not going to take it, anymore!” beginning, as it were.
I also know that we must continue that mindset — even more so — across the crazy-train board.
These people are hellbent on destroying America as we know it, gang.
We must not let that happen. We must not let them win. I suspect that we will not.
